Obviously Trump is right. The Pontiff needs to stick to ministering to the flock which is his job. Not a word in the Pope’s speech about Christians getting beheaded all over the Mideast. That’s what he needs to be talking about. I’m Catholic and eagerly await the next Pope.

Trump was asked by a CNN reporter trying to create controversy trying to make Trump look bad.

The questions to be posed are: “What is the normal state of this planet? Is it a glaciated planet or an inter-glacial period? And how does one know which is ‘normal’?”....The last”Ice age” supposedly ended around the Civil War. That means the warming we are (or probably not experiencing) is returning us to the ‘Normal’ temp. we probably had for centuries. I had a book, years ago, called Ecoscam. It outlined Paul Erlich and some other fools who said we were about to descend into population death, ice age decimation, etc., etc. by the time of 2013.
Does the pope, of all people, have so little faith in God’s handiwork that he believes it could be destroyed by mere humans?
Francis, you give humans far too much credit and the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE far too little!

Dear socon-econ: I’m concerned that you are on Free Republic and you are asking if there is Global Warming? Huh? Please do your homework on this worldwide hoax, concocted to enslave the world with a “carbon credit” economy, and how the science is all cooked by paid hoaxers. Then do your homework on the religious beliefs (if you want to call it that) of the people who founded the UN. Do your homework.

Somehow I doubt if Trump said “I think”
God is using Trump (far more than Trump knows) for His good purposes. Trump needs our prayers.
Lord, we are all imperfect sinners, saved only by Your grace. Please have mercy on this country, and bless Donald Trump and all of those in authority who will listen to You. Have mercy on us, Lord God, we need you, desperately. Bless Jim Robinson, bless every Freeper, bless Obama and Michelle and show them WHO YOU ARE LORD GOD. Your word says that “every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” and we ask that these mentioned would bow the knee now, rather than when it is too late to matter. The Pope should not have wagered his moral authority on something so dubious. Maybe he’ll learn?
