Well, a while back people floated Cruz for Speaker......(which he is eligible to become, given that Speaker does not have to be a member of the House.)
The Turtle of the senate always seems to have that I’m scared look about him. He elicits zero confidence or inspiration. Loser-— the GOPe sure knows how to pick these dimwits.
Even with his job in the Senate, running for President and as busy as can be, how about Speaker of the House for the interim???

He sure was and no doubt McConnell is feeling the heat too. Unfortunately, both Boner and the Turtle have lucrative DC lobbyist jobs waiting for them.
