Adolph Hitler was always a sucker for animals.
So perhaps it's no surprise that the notorious Nazi Party gangster stopped to get a puppy in Nuremburg while driving cross-country in Germany during his first run for public office. At least that's what he later claimed.
Substitute James "Whitey" Bulger for Hitler and you get the first two paragraphs of a Boston Globe (Sept. 14) story about the vicious killer Whitey Bulger, who, like Hitler, also was a sucker for animals. He loved puppies too.

Maybe his aides could help out and tell the media when and where he could be ‘spontaneous’ and stuff. And then they could also tell the media exactly where in the speech or event he was ‘humorous and funny!’

Black Mass is a great movie. I saw it and THEN watched the Biography. The movie is stunningly true down to almost every detail.

I made the mistake of watching a documentary on Netflix called “The United States vs Whitey Bulger”. It starts off like a regular crime documentary, but about 15 minutes in, it switches to a full blown propaganda film from Bulger’s defense team.
Skip it, there are better docs about him out there...
