What if this is a setup. These were not the actual wiped emails but a planted set that will “exhonorate” her?

It would not surprise me if Clinton thought hitting delete on a bunch of files constituted "wiping" the server clean.

Nothing would surprise me from Hitlery or 0vomit. But I’m also inclined to think that she has not been scrubbing the emails. Why? Because if she were, I doubt she’d be changing her story from “no emails” to “no classified emails” to “no emails that were classified at the time”. To me that’s a sign that she’s having to keep spinning to account for new info coming out.

That makes me think that someone may be cleverly letting the damning info drip out in hopes that she hangs herself with what she says as she keeps lying and trying to spin the latest bits of info.

I don’t think 0vomit is leaking it. He’s too lazy and too stupid. But one of his handlers might be. Or maybe there is someone in the FBI or DOS who is orchestrating this. It could be someone honorable, someone trying to save his own skin, or someone who just despises Hitlery.

The reports that it was Valerie Jarret who leaked to the NYTimes initially seem credible.

I, too, think that the drip, drip, drip is deliberate, but I don't think HRC’s obviously “evolving” explanations are what will hang her. Instead, I posit that the underlying activities themselves — setting up the private server; using the same server for the Clinton Foundation; deleting those “personal” (now recovered) emails when she knew all the emails were the subject of an investigation; not turning over all the work emails (Sydney Blumenthal turned over emails between him and HRC that weren't in her pile or work emails) — are very serious “irregularities”, regardless of whether she is truthful when she tries to explain away her activities.

I do not concur with those freepers who believe that the State Department, the Justice Department, the Obama White House, and the federal courts are all out to “fix” things to let HRC off the hook. These investigations are moving along and I think the chances that HRC won't be indicted for at least on misdemeanor are very low. Will she go to prison? No, of course not. But if HRC gets indicted in, say, April, will the Democrat establishment really back her over Biden? I doubt it.

Setting up her own server was a stunningly stupid move on HRC’s part. I predict it will end up causing her to lose her quest for the White House.
