#2 is vapid advice. How many job creators (e.g., Silicon Valley entrepreneurs) are sorry leftists? We know what the government needs to do to enable job growth—lower taxes and regulation, including repealing Obamacare. (Which he actually addresses in #3,4, and 5).

#1 however, is insufficient in itself. Every proamnesty GOPe candidate says he or she is for protecting the border. But with 30 million illegals in the country presently and chain migration set to goose that to 90 million, simply walling off future illegals who would come through Mexico is insufficient for saving the country.

People often criticize Trump for not "having details" but that is just not possible. It would be like asking Dwight Eisenhower to provide details on the D-Day invasion in December of 1942. First, Eisenhower wasn't even selected to lead D-Day at that time. Secondly, a lot was going to change on the battlefield between December 1942 and June 1944. Providing a detailed plan at that time would have been ludicrous and would have disqualified Eisenhower from that assignment.

What mattered at the time was would this man (Eisenhower) have the ability to put together a detailed plan to put Allied forces on the European mainland and would he be able to pull together the proper resources to execute that plan.

I’m for Cruz, but Trump may be the only way to break the stranglehold of The Cheap Labor Express on the GOP.

Currently the Democrats represent the illegal aliens
The GOP represents their employers.
No one represents the citizens.

Nothing on tort reform. The lawyers and judges must be restricted on their extortion racket. Blackrobe tyrants can’t be allowed to make laws that suit their personal fancies.

OPSEC

Trump won’t let on about certain key issues because they are sensitive in as much as timing, security and such, and no amount of weaseling by the MSM will get anything from him.

Good advice except this: we'll go back to Clinton levels.

Go back to levels even lower than Reagan.

You are getting way ahead of yourself here.

Trump will possibly make a slip and the media (and the RNC) will be all over him.

This is a combined MASS effort to prevent this man from coming anywhere close to the Presidency.

All means will be used against him and he knows it.

Those that dislike him are baffled at how much support he has had up to now because they do not have a clue how upset the nation is with the path since 2009.

He is considered a buffoon but yet presents himself as a man who can get things done by cutting the bull____.
People are tired of the pontifications of the Messiah and want, a real, down to Earth “Bulldozer” of a man they know can move not only Earth but issues, bills and install a sense of JOB WELL DONE AMERICA! That is what many folks want now - just get the job done, and he is the ONLY candidate who seems to be successfully putting this point across.

On jobs, its simple. If you offshore your factories, you pay a tariff to get access to the American consumer.

Damn good advice.

The bluster is starting to grow tiring.
Trump really needs to start fleshing out the bones of his ideas. Fox & CNN both broadcast his short speech on The Iowa, trumpeting it as a major speech on his defense plans. All it was, was more of the same.
Flesh it our Donald.

OUTSTANDING!

This is the sleeper suggestion:
“5. I will cancel every single regulation imposed by Obama and Bush- we’ll go back to Clinton levels.”

People have NO CLUE as to just what an economic shot in the arm that would be, mostly because business is so good at “working around” this crap. Just as an example, if Trump did that, Volkswagen could go back to selling Diesels WITHOUT having to doctor their emissions performance to pass EPA regulations.

From a political standpoint, the left will argue that rolling back regulations will send us into the STONE AGE. But only rolling them back to “Clinton levels” will force the Democrats (and media) to explain why people will be dropping in the streets if Trump pulls it off, when they weren’t dropping in the streets back then, under Clinton.

Let’s see if Trump is up to this plan, I LOVE IT!

I would not say 'make Ben Carson' the health guru. They're in the middle of a race. It will require Carson to reject that idea. I would say 'appoint one of America's greatest medical minds', etc. I would not say 'investigate Obama'. Remember that America elected this guy twice. I would again keep it general: 'investigate past corruption in any of our agencies' by appointing special prosecutors. Reality is that we're never going to a single, flat tax rate. Reagan had 3 rates. In 2011, Trump proposed a 4 rate system: 1%, 5%, 10%, 20%, iirc. That was based on something like these incomes: <50,000, >50000<150,000, >150,000<1,000,000, and finally, >1,000,000. It is a graduated scale, but it is less than folks are paying now, even at the upper end. I think Trump had rolled payroll taxes into his percentages. I'm not sure of that.

2. and 3. are contradictory:
2. I will be "The JOBS President." I'll build a team of 10 of the most brilliant business leaders in US history. These 10 together will have created millions of jobs. We'll turn it around with the ideas of this amazing brain trust. And we'll have one important rule- no government bureaucrats involved.

3. I will repeal and replace Obamacare. Obamacare is destroying the US economy- killing jobs, raising taxes, imposing regulations, dramatically raising insurance premium prices and prescription drug prices for middle class Americans. I will repeal it. I'll appoint Dr. Benjamin Carson to head this huge project
