Ping!
Trump: I read your book you magnificent SOB!
I’ve been nervous about Trump from the get-go. This does not help ...
Perhaps the author needs to buy Robert Greene’s 48 Laws of power” and then rewrite his article.
So this means........
Is it better to fall victim to these rules over and over, then?
They are valid rules, they work.
Bought time. Trump’s strategies go further back to Sun Tzu, however.
While he might have some good points, I don’t believe he understands Trump’s character. The man does not go into contests to lose or quit. It would be death for his brand and against his entire history.
bout time
It’s about time somebody on our side starts using them against the enemy!
these “rules radicals” are also rules for patriots - what is good for radicals is even better when they are used againt them.
they are also rules for advertising.
“Its about time somebody on our side starts using them against the enemy!”
Do you actually believe that he is on our side? I see him as just a boorish, undisciplined, bully. I am still waiting for him to lace into the real enemy — Democrats.
Tired old myth Bushies tell to feel better about themelves. All the polling data from when Perot pulled out of the race, and before he reentered shows that without Perot, Clinton would have won with a majority rather than just a plurality.
It is unlikely that Trump ever read Alinsky.
Other than that...
What Trump is exploiting is what he learned in life.
The Alinsky angle is yet another attempt to denigrate Trump, this time by tying him to Alinsky tactics, which the writer agrees he probably never read, never studied, and thus could never have truly exploited.
Bush league...
Exactly. Bush lost when he reneged on "Read My Lips..."
I have read two of Trumps books so far...Alinsky doesn’t have a clue who Donald Trump is or what he is about....
It’s about damn time somebody on our side used Alinsky on the libs.
Let me give a good example of what I mean.
I was at an event protesting a bunch of radicals. We were smiling and walking with our signs and I decided to kick it up a notch and use a "reverse-Alinsky tactic.
I told my cohorts to start singing, "We shall overcome." Out loud, uh, REAL LOUD.
The leader of the opposition looked like we had just thumped her with a rubber band but didn't know which direction it came from.
And she yelled, "You're not supposed to sing that song! That's our song!"
"Free country!" we yelled back.
Be inventive, people! They only have one playbook - one dedicated to Lucifer.
We have a lot more to draw from - like the Bible and 1960s protest songs.
Who are you supporting?
