A while back a guy plied a small child with liquor so he could put the moves on the child's mom, and the child died; was that child a "victim" of the legality of alcohol? To me the answer is clearly "no".

Good thing that's not the argument I made. I argue that the original article no more establishes that (as DL implied) heroin use is not a victimless crime than the incident I cite establishes that alcohol use is not a victimless crime.
