Walker’s people are losers. They obviously were not doing a good job for their candidate. Let them collect unemployment.

Losers? In what way?

It’s not their fault Walker ran outta money and could not run a campaign.

I don't believe these are paid positions. The idea is to have people on the ground who can help the candidate in a variety of ways taht only a local can do. Also, it helps establish the candidate's credibility if the person is known to his community.

The chairman of our county Republican organization is also the head of a Cruz district.

The folks in Georgia who supported Walker had nothing to do with his crash and burn.

These two have a groups of people around them who will follow their lead. That's why they were picked by the Walker team to be in leadership positions.

By Cruz picking them up, it creates a signal to Walker supporters in Georgia that those who supported Walker at a high level in the State now support Cruz.

It signals undecided voters that when Walker dropped, Cruz picked up support, ergo Cruz gained by Walker dropping. This causes more people to take a look at Cruz and see what he is about.

Even picking up a point or two in Georgia can create a lift for the overall polling situation and keep Cruz in the top four or five for the next several weeks. We will likely see more drop out in the next month, and if Cruz can pick up a couple of points from each, he sets himself to be the “not-Trump” that people seem desperate for from so many angles.
