Wisconsin's Walker exits '16 race with harsh words for Trump

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Warning the GOP's presidential race has become too nasty, Scott Walker suspended his 2016 campaign on Monday and called on some of his Republican rivals to do the same, citing an urgent need to "clear the field" to help defeat GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

"Today, I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the field in this race so that a positive conservative message can rise to the top of the field. With that in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately," Walker said in a Madison press conference.

That is hilarious! Trump is already tweeting that since Walker said what he did the pledge was fake!

My biggest problem with Walker was his seeming inability or lack of desire to engage in the fray and fight. Until this hissy fit crap, cadged as a “noble gesture”, I still considered him a viable option.

Walker was the one candidate whom I had a bad feeling about without really having a clear reason. Now I know my instincts were right.

BTW, he's a liar now because in debate #1 he said he!d support the GOP nominee, which looks like Trump.

Sorry. I thought I heard front-runners, which sheds a different light, including all of the outsiders. I didn't think it was an ugly attack. Ugly attacks are NOT Scott Walker's style.

>> “ He gets his debt wiped clean for taking swipes at Trump.” <<

Fantasy land!

Who is going to wipe it?

Not too well thought out, huh!

Someone agreed to pay money to his campaign to say those things. He will get money for his endorsement. He will get money to campaign in Wisconsin and surrounding states. It's the way the game is played. These guys all take care of each other and the donors get to play chess games behind the scenes by throwing money around.

Those are 10+ years old statements. Ridiculously childish to base attacks on such old and out of context statements.

I'm referring to statements he has made during the campaign.

Trump would ignore the courts, like Viktor Orban did in Hungary. The court is LIB CONTROLLED. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL

>> “If Trump wants the use them, they way they use us, I got no problem with that!” <<

Dreamer.

Trump isn’t using them; they are playing him like a Steinway on a glass dais!

They are using Trump to weaken the conservative branch of the GOP.

If they can convince people that Trump is a conservative, conservative positions will crumble to dust.

Trump is Spiffy the clown in a business suit.

Do you really think Trump is running as a conservative? He is running as a nationalist with very hard line views on immigration, trade and environment. Get real, you think you are the only one that sees what he is doing. In reality you are not really getting it.

Trump doesn’t want to ignore the court!

Get that through your tissue paper sack.

He has stated that he is fine with all of the court’s fiascoes. He has always been pleased with “Gay Rights.” He has always worshiped Single Payer ‘healthcare,’ so the court’s push in that direction has been just fine with him.

You are gullible in the extreme; you live in dreamland with the rest of the grasshoppers.

What he is running as, and what the MSM portrays him to be are two widely disparate things.

The MSM is packaging Trump as an IED for the gullible ‘conservatives’ to carry home to the kids.

Um nobody is gullible except those that don’t think a mainstream GOPe candidate is nothing but a pure phony.

Anyone that thinks Trump is in any significant way different from Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, or George Soros is too gullible to be allowed to vote.

If you read the Trump position posted on his web site he is clearly in favor of severe restrictions on the H-1B visa program. He is clearly NOT on board with the current high level of LEGAL immigration and certainty against the illegal immigration invasion. Not of the douche bags you mentioned have those positions.

Gullible is your name!

Trump is a big employer of illegals, and is looking for a new way to re-name amnesty.

His words: “We have to keep the good ones.” (those that have jobs)

Trump can post anything and get away with it, since he has the MSM keeping him alive as a ‘conservative’ candidate.

Trump is a big employer of illegals

That is completely counter to my experience, having actually contracted with the Trump organization in the past.

They have to go back and re apply for a visa. He is not an open border guy. Besides HE WILL BUILD THE WALL. No other candidate will do that. Trump cannot back off of that. If the only thing we get put of a Trump Presidency is ta beautiful southern wall then he will be a successful President.

Like I said he is the only one talking about H-1B. So he has my support.

I just got hold of Trump’s book written in 2011, “Time to get Tough”.

He is saying exactly the same things on the campaign.
I intend to post several excerpts from the book.

You have something against people who work?
Do you favor instead people on welfare?

Illegals must GO BACK to their country, and come back as LEGAL. You have something against that?

If yes, you are a lost cause.

You’re confused, as usual.

Trump wishes to keep his illegals. He calls them “the good ones.”

You seem unable to come to grips with the real Trump.

Illegals that go back are forbidden by our laws from ever coming back, and that is a good law, don’t you think?

Trump wants to change the law so that they can come back legally. That is a terrible idea.

If you think it is OK, you are a lost cause.
