... Mr. Walker’s intended withdrawal is a humiliating climb down for a Republican governor once seen as all but politically invincible. He started the year at the top of the polls but has seen his position gradually deteriorate, amid the rise of Donald J. Trump’s populist campaign and repeated missteps by Mr. Walker himself.

He’s been great as a governor. He needs to stay there.

If you would have told me this last year, that he would be out this early, I would have laughed.

What kind of weirdo grammar is this?:

“Scott Walker Said to Be Quitting Run for President”

It should be:

“Scott Walker Drops out of Presidential Race”

No wonder these dingbats are going out of business left and right.

He was the only one who actually held office and did something. Trump, Fiorina and Carson took all of his supporters. They wanted things to happen but thought that the GOP establishment was hopeless. I hated to see that happen. He was on my list in case the big three dropped out.

Walker probably would have been a good president, but he surrounded himself with some bad advisers. He sort of got lost in the shuffle and I’m sure he will find a place for his talent once his term is up as governor of WI.

The media uses weirdo mispronunciations as well most notably with their ubiquitous but annoying pronunciation of the word “buoy” which they hilariously mispronounce as “boowie”! When the correct pronunciation is “boy”! I learned back in grade school that “buoy” & “boy” were pronounced the same yet these media teleprompter reading airheads did not appear to get the same lesson or simply forgot what they were taught.

That’s for sure...someone on his staff thought it was a good idea to start hiring many GOPe RINOs for his campaign. That may have been intentional sabotage.

Walker still has potential as a possible running mate IMHO.

2 1/2 month official campaign. (He didn’t officially announce until early July.) Get your boys back into school, Governor, and get to work on the Wisconsin agenda. You have 3 years left.

There’s John Doe, GAB, voter registration, an open Supreme Court seat, a US Senate seat to defend, and (of course) jobs, jobs, jobs. We still love you and support you.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

You aren’t kidding. I stopped watching television long ago. Decades in fact.

It’s bad enough attempting to read their pig slop articles without noting numerous rookie errors, let alone listening to their ignorant dribble on their so-called news broadcasts.

Why? Because Walker is reportedly getting out of the race? A race he has totally tanked? Not disputing the success he had in Wisconsin getting elected, surviving the recall and be re-elected, but come on...if he was really that great of a presidential candidate, don’t you think he’d be higher than Lindsey Graham and George Pataki now? At some point in time the candidates have to sell something that makes people believe in them. He just doesn’t have it at this level...yet. Maybe he will next time, he’s got a track record and can continue to tout that and still be involved. Heck, he can possibly be the NLRB Chairman or Labor Secretary in a Repub cabinet.
