Russia has started flying drone aircraft on surveillance missions in Syria, U.S. officials said on Monday, in what appeared to be Moscow's first military air operations inside the country since staging a rapid buildup at a Syrian air base.
The start of Russian drone flights underscored the risks of U.S.-led coalition planes and Russian aircraft operating within Syria's limited airspace without agreeing on coordination or objectives in Syria's civil war.

I want to make a prediction : Russia will rapidly advance military operations against ISIS and all Asad opposition forces . Air and ground ops combined . Obama will order all U.S. air assets to avoid Syrian air space and also to hold back from the Syrian and Jordanian borders only. U.S. air operations will now become severely limited . Russian attacks will cause ISIS to surge into Iraq and the Iraq gov , w/out much U.S. support will begin to fail even further . The Kurds will find themselves hung out to dry as Obama orders a U.S. retreat in the face of the Russian buildup . Flight ops out of Incirlik will become nearly impossible , as such ops will run into Russian CAPs . Iran will re-double efforts to command and control in Iraq , in face of the growing U.S. evacuation of influence. Big win for Putin coming - big defeat for Obama

When you know your nation has reached new depths of despair?
When Russia has to step in to confront evil terrorist organizations because your president refused to.

Dude. Don’t give him ideas...

Yikes. Team 0dunga is VERY worried Putin will see that the U.S. ISN'T attempting to stop ISIS BUT I THINK RUSSIA ALREADY KNOWS THAT.
Can't have a massive invasion of Muzzies into Europe without ISIS scaring them all out, RIGHT???!!!!

Turkey is busy slaughtering the Kurds, with 0dunga’s blessing.

What if the US truly made ‘common cause ‘ with Russia on the war against radical Islam ? Could you imagine the present day Russia as an ally instead of the age-old adversary ? What could not be accomplished ? Europe is losing itself to the moslem tide , we cannot save them from this one . Only a direct , combined , military confrontation will defeat the scourge of advancing fundie Islam

If Putin working with Assad can create a safe zone for Syrians, it'll take a lot of pressure off Europe and the mideastern countries housing Syrian refugees.. Turkey and Russia aren't allies. Is it possible that Russia would work with the Kurds and push all the ISIS maniacs into Sunni lands in Iraq? Then send almost everyone in Europe and elsewhere back to their homelands and shoot on sight any refugees who cause trouble.
Rather than have ISIS get that corridor to the Med, it's good that Russia will provide defense of the area. It's incomprehensible that Obama wants to create still more vacuums in the MiddleEast, to be filled by terrorists.
This is so bizarre. It's crazier than any of the old board games with outrageous scenerios for world domination.

First , our national leadership needs to be replaced . We can’t wait until 2016 either . We cannot fiddle around while Rome burns . And it’s burning

What if the US truly made common cause with Russia on the war against radical Islam ? It would be most welcome but in my view not realistic. Try telling a Russian imperialist like Putin to make common cause with a nation that in their view is controlled by Nazi collaborator George Soros.
Russia will probably only go so far as to secure their national interest. Personally, I'm not sold on the Christian solidarity argument. Russia has never allowed religious sentimentality to overrule statecraft.
