The U.S. is offering new details about its plan to ease the Syrian refugee crisis by significantly increasing the number of worldwide refugees it will take in over the next two years.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says the U.S. will accept 85,000 refugees from around the world next year, up from 70,000, and the number will rise to 100,000 in 2017.
Aides to Kerry say that many, though not all, of the additional refugees would be Syrian.
The migrants would be referred by the United Nations, screened by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and resettled around America.
Kerry made the announcement Sunday during a visit to Berlin after meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier to discuss the mass migration of Syrians fleeing their civil war.

I was under the impression that the 70,000 number was legislated, with some latitude for extreme emergencies. Though I doubt Congress will do anything.

And Muslim Gulf States like Saudi Arabia won’t take their fellow Muslim refugees, but they will donate millions to have mosques built in Europe and the US.

John Kerry was in London the other day, talking to our Foreign Secretary, a man named Philip Hammond.
Hammond is as dopey as Kerry.

There are plenty of rich ME nations who could afford to take their fellow Muslims.
I seriously doubt I’ll live in the US 20 more years. The federal gov is absolutely corrupt so no reason to think they’ll do anything. Our state governments could put a stop to this tomorrow but they won’t. The best fed up Americans can do is a guy who was 100% liberal just a few years ago. This is Idiocracy. My stomach can’t take what’s happening.
Where else is safe?
When I was young whenever I read the book of Revelation I always marveled at the fact that at some point in the distant future, the medievel practice of beheading would be taking place according to scripture. I thought, oh well we know the US won’t ever be affected. Now, with our traitorous leaders allowing these people to come and live among us, it’s amazing how yes, this could, and probably will, happen. God be with us.
This is supposed to be a government that operates on behalf of the country’s best interest. How does taking in tens of thousand of potential terrorists benefit us? I know other presidents have accepted refugees many times, but this is different and these are different times.
