Trump's aggressive support of Constitutional rights
I like this guy more all the time!
Since the time of publication of Trump’s referred book, times have changed dramatically.
We have anti-American militants withing the Continental 48, that could and would strike out at anyone that they have chosen to be deserving. This, alone, should be enough for any right-thinking American to become armed, of some kind.
I don’t like the concept of a national permit. What we’ll get is the worst of a CDL and pilot’s license with a mandatory 72 hour psychiatric evaluation, renewed every year.
The Constitution specifically provides that American citizens have the right to arm themselves.
All of this phoney legislation around the 2nd Amendment should be adjudicated within the Constitution itself. But that is made very hard by design. So instead we’ve been harassed, cajoled and hoodwinked by “laws” at the Federal, State and municipal levels to the extent that in some jurisdictions even having a gun in your own home has been judged illegal.
Now it’s even taking place with regard to the First Amendment to the extent that being a Christian will eventually disqualify one from working within government at all.
Or will we be required then to take out special permits for that too?
There is a word for this. It is TYRANNY.
