Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg's FWD.us and other high profile tech companies say they want presidential candidates to talk about immigration reform, particularly about increasing caps for H-1B visas. Donald Trump has made immigration a top issue for the 2016 presidential campaign, yet the conversation has centered on what to do with illegal aliens and border control.
FWD.us President, Todd Schulte, is calling for more high-skilled foreign workers to be able to work in the United States. Schulte cited that tech companies frequently say that the current immigration system is holding them back.
Schulte claims that more H-1B visas are needed to fill the rising gap for graduates in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, however, there are more than five million native-born Americans with STEM undergraduate degrees working in non-STEM occupations. In 2012 an additional 1.2 million natives with STEM degrees were not working, either unemployed or out of the workforce.
Last month, Trump called out Mark Zuckerberg and other companies for using the H-1B program to lower American wages by hiring cheaper foreign workers. This week Hewlett Packard announced that it would lay off 30,000 American workers while expanding their H-1B visa program. Last year, Disney was caught firing hundreds of thousands of American workers and replacing them with foreign workers. The American workers were forced to train their replacements in order to receive their severance pay.
Other founders of FWD.us include Microsoft Corp founder Bill Gates, Yahoo Inc. CEO Marissa Mayer, and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman.
I think the US should nationalize Facebook.
Trump addressed this issue very clearly: raise the minimum salary for all H1-B visas commensurate with current U.S. wages to take away the incentives for replacing US workers.
Unlike Cruz who wants to increase H1-Bs 500%.
H-1B visas increase the opportunity for MORE anchor babies.

Any candidate who does not agree with and who will sign a bill to the effect of the above is an AUTOMATIC no-vote, IMO. I don’t care if they are in favor of motherhood and sunshine.

There, I "fixed" it for him.
Move to India, all of you. You go there, don’t bring more here, no mas
If F...face want H1Bs, he should be required to pony up $500,000 per visa per year to be used to compensate unemployed US citizens that could perform that job.
I find it amusing that our elitist American fascists think that they’re immune from getting hanged from lampposts.
During the 2011 Libyan Civil War, I was involved in contract work for the Israelis. The Libyan people were killing, shooting and hanging elitists, and their preatorian guards and their mercenary southern army, by the thousands.
They were literally dumped into open pit mass graves by the thousands. Many of the South African mercenaries that worked for Qaddhafi were swallowed by the Libyan sands, never to be seen again.

To see Zuckerberg, Gates, and the other Free Traitors swinging from rope neckties ... the thought brings a smile.
Ever notice how the MSM never brings up the H-1B visa controversy? WaPo, NYT never seem to report on it very often, if ever. H-1B has been around for decades terrorizing IT and other occupations but the Chamber of Cheap Labor has paid of the MSM to keep it spiked.

I love it. The H-1B Tariff.
