I don’t think Romney is stupid enough to run. He’s already got multiple defeats. This would be a certain defeat against Trump and would cause major damage between him and the base if he tried.
Independents need petitions to get a non-established party slate of Presidential Electors on the ballot. You need 1% of the total valid votes from the previous election, about 130,000

My financial contribution, Trump does not need it, goes to Cruz for his superior intelligence which he has used to support this Republic, and his extensive experience in the legal field which has made him an expert on constitutional law. Donald Trump also is highly educated and has life experience in all fields relating to business and commerce and the related knowledge of the mentality of both friend and foe of the US. I trust them both because they are each solid Americans whom I expect to put America first and to be fair and honest in the implementation of their elected offices.
