I don’t think Trump will hand the reins to Ted Cruz or anybody else and I hope he stays in the race for a long time.

The mainstream doesn’t like Ted Cruz any better but he is too smart to give them the ammunition that Trump does.

I think Cruz is well positioned right now to take over when the hangers on fade. The Carly thing is a flash in the pan and Huckabee, while likable, is not a contender.

Ben Carson is a nice guy and I like him but that Mr. Rogers thing he’s got going is not strong enough for a president.

Sure, there are plants and so forth. Simply don’t expand on stupid questions outright with similar stupidity I would think.

Donald Trump backs out of Greenville GOP Forum

Current GOP frontrunner Donald Trump will not be in Greenville for tonight’s Heritage Action Presidential Forum.

In a release sent shortly after noon Trump’s office said he would not be able to make it to the event.

The release cites a delay in a business transaction that was expected to close Thursday.

The release says Trump sends his regrets and looks forward to his appearance in Columbia on Wednesday.

“Polling in 1st place by a significant margin in SC. He’s been on the go across the country since Sunday. A night off at this point is a non-issue.”

I don’t disagree with that aspect of it. More than it i a DeMint event that is likely to be friendly to him and allow him to speak unfiltered to a friendly audience. I am not saying to stick a fork in him, just that it is a really good event to be a part of for someone who is getting slandered by the biased press on both sides. Heritage are the good guys.

I agree Demint is a good guy. We lived in SC for 16 years in the Greenville area.

I’m betting Demint & Trump meet in some fashion before the primary :)

He looks tired.

Try standing for over 3 hours in a very hot room and then get back to us on how you feel.
