I don’t fear homosexuals. I simply find their behavior disgusting.
On the other hand, I am, in fact, Islamophobic. Those guys are trying to cut my head off. I fear that.
Allowing, for a moment, that that statement actually IS science (*chuckle*) then I will revise my lifelong (since my teenage years) observation that 25% of the general population is insane to some degree, recently upped to 50%,) then the only possible conclusion is that we are ALL insane...
I expect an Executive Order any day now that since, we are all insane, we have eliminated all crime in one fell swoop, since every imbecile knows that being insane makes us immune to prosecution and punishment.

We all know that homosexuals ain’t right in the head so I guess it is possible that those who don’t like homosexuals might be also. I think it all depends on what the meaning of the word is, is.

I don’t know anyone who runs away screaming from homosexuals or that wakes up in the middle of the nigh convinced that homosexuals are hiding in their closet preparing to kill them or who hides behind bushes until homosexuals have walked by. Or whatever. . . That kind of behavior, if it existed, might properly be labeled “homophobia.”
Not wanting to watch two men sloppy kiss at the bus stop after a long day at work is not disabling fear.
“Yuck” is not equal to fear.
That will be next! We are living in a very dark time. There is no reality anymore what’s wrong is right and if you are a fait based person you are considered mentally ill? When will the conservative people take stand? It is getting too late to turn the tide? We will become an burned out shell in 5 years if we don’t stop this insanity!!!
To compound and further confuse matters, in the last few generations, mostly the mentally crippled nut jobs have gone into those professions in droves (perfectly logical, to seek self help) but blossomed instead into taking the easy road : redefining insanity. And they view it all as a job well done.

I was in the military during Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell.
One morning, there was yellow police tape on the door of one of the barracks rooms. Turns out one soldier who was ‘unsure of his sexuality’ had started to horseplay with another soldier, and tried to subtly cop a feel of his man parts.
And a violent fight ensued.

Goldstein, 63, director of San Diego Sexual Medicine and director of sexual medicine at Alvarado Hospital, has had a long career providing medical help to those with sexual problems. He has worked on understanding the physiology of the male erection, and has played key roles in the development of drugs for both male and female sexual dysfunction.
During his career, Goldstein has treated many patients for problems that used to be poorly understood and highly stigmatized — though much work remains, both in conducting research and removing shame.
“Helping people, now both men and women, with getting their sexual lives in order, and getting that joy from them — smiling and hugging their partner — there’s nothing like this field,” Goldstein said. “It’s truly the most amazing experience to be involved in all of this.”
International meetings began to take place to discuss such advances. Goldstein and Krane held such a meeting in 1988, calling themselves the International Society for Sexual Medicine. The organization then started a journal, the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Goldstein became editor in 2003, a position he still holds.

You can tell the contrived “phobias” (Islamophobia, homophobia, etc) from genuine phobias (claustrophobia, agoraphobia, etc.) by simply noting which ones it’s politically correct to use as an accusation.
Marxist/Nazi science comes up with some interesting terms to justify their antisemitism and their hatred of Christians and God.
“Homophobe” is only a pseudo-scientific term. It is a political term designed to stifle disagreement with a political agenda. As such, the idea that science “may” consider it a mental illness is nothing more than more Leftist Groupthink.
