The media has to be manipulating the output from Cruz to show him so far back in the pack. He seems quite well respected in my area of ND and Eastern MT.

To date, Cruz has been unable to connect with the voters. He is, by far, the most articulate and intelligent candidate of either party, but he seems too wonkish and preachy to the average citizen. For some, he comes across as the smartest kid in class who is always holding his hand up because he knows the answer, but the teacher isn't calling on him.

Cruz should do better in a smaller field.

Trump’s my first choice. Cruz second. Huckabee third. Carson fourth. Fiorina fifth.
