It was so pathetic, I had to turn it off.
All this was, was the Left getting the Right to fight with each other. Nothing substantive about the issues at hand: the tyranny of the mostly unconstitutional $4 trillion federal government, abortion and unconscionable treatment of the unborn, economic disaster becasue of minimum ware, regulations, unions, and taxes (talked a little about that). But it is obvious that CNN’s marching orders were to keep the candidates fighting amongst each other - that way the real issues remain examined.

They just tried to set up Trump with a gotcha question about the wealthy drawing social security and pit him against Christie, and his answer was measured and sensible... not what they wanted.

Trump's doing a good job deflecting any criticism from the other candidates. I don't understand why Carly is getting so many votes...she has been atrocious IMHO.

Ben Carson didn't help himself at all. Sounded flat and just not very presidential. But obviously a very nice and knowledgeable guy. He should have a place in the new Administration.
Ted Cruz was fantastic but that's what we have come to expect from Cruz.
Huckabee, Christie and Rubio were surprisingly good but they aren't going anywhere polling-wise.
I predict that Trump, Fiorina and Cruz all gain in the polls after this.

This debate is fairly even overall. Everyone in the senior debate has been pretty good. Jendal was clearly the class of the junior debate. We have an embarrassment of riches this cycle with our candidates.
