During Wednesday’s Republican debate, Lindsey Graham said that in order to deal with ISIS, we need to assemble a coalition, go into Syria, and “kill every one of these bastards that we can find.”
GRAHAM: We’re going to need a regional army. The Turks, the Jordanians, the Saudis, the Egyptians. Get their armies up together, and 90-percent of it will be them. They’re going to pay for this war because we payed for the last two, but 10-percent will have to be us. We’ll go in on the ground, and we’re going to pull the caliphate up by its roots, and we’re going to kill every one of these bastards that we can find because if we don’t, they’re coming here.
Lindsey girl, save your outrage for Planned Parenthood because for 1400 years Muslims have been pretty consistent to each other.
I was thinking of that movie and that line when I saw this thread!

When I saw that movie in 1963, Lawrence’s swaddled face & crazed expression reminded me of the worst of the cruel-tyrant-nuns I had known in grade school.
The scene with the wounded Turk trying to shoot Lawrence left me with the desire to someday own a Mauser broomhandle pistol (I now have several).

Its important to remember that Graham and McCain have been Obama’s go-to guys for foreign policy. They were in on backing the jihadis in Libya, they went to threaten Sisi after the overthrow of the Muslim Brotherhood, and were right there shaking hands with the jihadis in Syria.
I don’t think he is going to get the Turks on board since they have been backing ISIS right along with Qatar and Obama’s State Department at least until it got too embarrassing.
