The conservative general public is so seething with anger against the GOPe that they will vote “Trump won!” under ANY circumstances, I think.

good point. Corker bill got 98 Senators. Are any of them on TV tonight? So French. So now it's time to think about winnowing this Survivor inspired drama known as the GOP "debates". Get the next show down to 8. Maybe hide a hidden immunity idol. So 3 go. After this episode who should be gonged? For me it's Rand, Jeb, and Kaisich.
On the first debate, he just gave jokes and personal story.

Wrong. While I would like Trump to offer a few more specifics he still is the ultimate outsider and underdog.
I suspect in the next few weeks he will be putting out those policy papers everyone wants and you will have your specifics.
Long way to go and frankly these debates are way too early anyway.

He should be talking to Micheal Flynn , Jim Conway , James Mattis , Paul Vallely , Larry Bailey and David Petraeus .
He needs to get a coalition of those caliber of gents to come out in open support of him . And he of them .
