“However, another parent was quoted as saying that “if parents would educate their children, be open, be honest, we wouldnt have this problem.””
???
That parent is a moron, girls and boys are different.
That’s why this is a problem!
*facepalm*
I wonder if that quoted parent would have an issue with a boy walking into the bathroom with their daughter?
And if not, why not.
Very few girls want to go to the bathroom near boys.
TRUE that.....wondering what will they say when the precious little "girlboy" or whatever gets RAPED by one of her/his buddies..........
Guess they will revert to the "war on women" thing at that point.
This is easy to fix. Tear out the bathrooms...put up a out-house or two in the back of the school, and just make each one gender-neutral, with no heating. That will take care of a lot of problems, if you ask me.
In the end, the only correct answer to public homosexuality is individual bathrooms.
Why should heterosexual men or women put up with being ogled by gays in the bathroom? They shouldn’t.
Should we put up gay bathrooms? OMG no. Total health hazard.
There is no answer. Same for transgenderism. There is no answer. The problem with both is that they ultimately demand the destruction of the norm. That’s why they were in the closet, and mostly (or should be) allowed to do whatever they want in the closet. Then we can all wink at the issue, and move on.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
On the other hand, meet Lila Perry, the "girl" fighting for "her" right to use the girls' locker room. Not restroom, locker room.
That didn't work with that one freak in Missouri (?). HE had a gender-neutral restroom just for HIMSELF last year but demanded to use the girls' this year. The state ruled HE was allowed to use the girls' despite the students and parents protesting it.
No wonder God is sending down a pestilence down on us in the form of ISIS.
Normal sexuality, traditional sex roles, and traditional cultural recognition of the importance of courtship, love & marriage, are the keys to the multi-generational character of a people, as well as their capacity for happiness & enduring purpose. What those who try to accommodate attacks on those keyes are doing is undermining values & perceptions, which in normal times form a major part in focusing youth in the right direction, and to the proper ends.
It is easy to dismiss this, simply as idiotic attention seeking. But it is having a very pernicious effect.
There is a solution, but now kids go to jail for smearing the queers.
The world has gone mad.
In this case, I’d be worried about the girl coming to harm. What if some bad kid rapes her? Then they’ll have that can of worms.
These people are essentially catering to people who think they are napoleon buy buying them funny hats.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
All this crap will last until the females (real ones) stop it.
The females in that school staged a walkout. There was no way they were going to be expected to shower naked in front of "Lila" (who wound up dropping out of gym class). They're teenage girls, for crying out loud.
But you're right. It's going to have to be females. This article is an outlier. The majority of people pulling this nonsense are men wearing wigs and dresses.
I was on the swim team from age 7 to 17. We basically lived in Speedos all day. STILL none of us would ever want to use a bathroom or locker room with the boys.
This is the sexual harassment of boys and girls, plain and simple.
Here's a link to another thread on Free Republic where I posted the proposed policy on transgender students, drafted by the Missouri Consultants on Education: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3338532/posts?page=59#59
This isn't San Francisco. This isn't Greenwich Village. This isn't even Chicago or Denver. This is MISSOURI, for crying out loud.
Want this in your local schools?
If something like this can be proposed in a conservative state like ours, just imagine what could happen elsewhere, and perhaps is already happening.
