Got the bubble-headed bleach blonde, comes on at five,
she can tell you 'bout the plane crash with a gleam in her eye
it's interesting when people die,
give us dirty laundry...

Your editorial pretty much sums up my assessment of the Fox ‘team’. My wife used to watch it all the time - every night for hours after work. After the debate, she just switched it all off.

Great breakdown. I still watch Fox. They piss me off more often than they used to though.

The first thing that made me have to stop watching Fox was when they slowed down the scrolling news banner at the bottom of the screen. I can’t read that slowly and it began to dumb me down. OAN’s scrolling script runs at a pretty good clip.

Your analysis is right on. The rise of Donald Trump has opened my eyes to FOX. They are obviously biased against him, and as a consequence, I have drastically cut back on my viewing time. They are truly FAUX news now, and as out of touch with the grassroots as the alphabet networks. Bye Bye.

Steve Hayes is another ‘Special Report’ panelist Trump basher. He’s also soft on illegal immigration and gay issues.

I still watch FOX but it’s not often an enjoyable experience. The other networks are worse.

Fox News Channel has mortally wounded itself, and will slowly decline into the Oblivion Cesspool!!! The decline has not yet manifested itself, because hundreds of thousands of “New” Obamabot Left-wing, low life Democrats now provide a substantial viewer base for FNC. But...that will change down the road. the death of FNC comes, shamefully, from a self-imposed wound, taht they canot recover from, without changing much of the present caste of players!!!

I was a total devotee of FNC...but now, I only tune in to Fox & Friends, O’Reilly, Greta & Hannity. The Five, Megyn Kelly, Shepard Smith, Chris Wallace, etc. are taboo!!! And, Dana Perino, Like Grandma Klump...needs to be put out of her misery....and sent to MSNBC. along with Megyn (sour puss) Kelly!!! Wow...talk about wo screwups!!! Sad...but true!!!

One of Fox's lesser personalities was on one Sunday afternoon, August 30, with law professor Susan Estrich. Prof. Estrich criticized Trump's position on anchor babies by citing an 1898 Supreme Court decision (Wong Kim Ark) which ruled that a person born on US soil was a citizen. The Fox host fell all over himself in the amen corner agreeing with her that Trump was wrong.

The object, like a lot lately on Fox, seems to have been to take down Trump however they can rather than be "Fair and Balanced" as Fox claims to be. They should have had on in the same discussion a law professor who held a different view of the Fourteenth Amendment and the particular Supreme Court case Prof. Estrich cited. The day before that program aired, there was a letter to the Wall Street Journal by another law professor, Prof. John C. Eastman, stating that Wong Kim Ark "recognized that a child born on US soil to lawful, permanent residents [my bold] was a citizen." That is quite different from saying that a child born in the US whose parents were here illegally was a citizen.

Prof. Eastman's letter cited and explained the words of the Congressman who had sponsored the 14th Amendment. The Congressman's statement had been previously posted on FreeRepublic by Freeper dangus on August 27 [See: Link].

Prof. Eastman's letter ended with these words, "The Supreme Court has never held that children of illegal immigrants are entitled to automatic citizenship. nor should it, as that would mean citizenship could be obtained not by mutual consent but by illegal conduct."

Lately I have been tuning in CNN once in awhile. They actually now look pretty mainstream compared to Fox.

When you lay it all out like that, you could cast a hell of a season of American Horror Story. Geesh.
