Who among the current crop of losers and whiners has a better shot than trump. There are less than 20 candidates and you are giving odds against Trump winning at 1 in 20. LOL! Who's your money on?

My best hunch is that Cruz will eventually win the GOP nom.

Jeb will fizzle under the weight of his stance on amnesty and tepid 2A support, and Trump will concoct an excuse to go third -party.

Carson has an even chance if he can somehow take a strong stance on border security and say NO to illegal aliens. (Not an easy thing at this stage.)

Carly has some baggage to clean up. I see her as likely VEEP to whomever wins the nom.

The above is for the Nom. The eventual GOPer has an excellent chance for winning, IF AND ONLY IF there is no third party candidate.

If (Dem) Trump goes third party (my safest prediction), he will absolutely and completely ensure victory for the Dems.

” Mister Trump is a lifelong Dem . . . “ What an idiot. Where did you get that crap? SO THAT MAKES YOU A TROLL -— GET LOST.

He said it himself... He is a democrat in his heart..
What else is he very very confused about?..

Maybe it was rope-a-dope talking to democrats but no doubt about it.. he is the Mother of ALL Connivers..

The Trump Dog and Pony Show is selling Trumpohol..
WHat is overlooked? (some times on purpose)..
Answer: CONGRESS... he will not be elected EMPEROR...

YOU know........ THIS TIME.. Emperor would come the second term..

He won't unless Jeb Bush gets the nomination. If Cruz beats him out, Trump will throw his weight behind Cruz. They have an unspoken agreement. That is why you don't see stones being thrown at each other.

If Trump were to run against a Bush/Clinton ticket, then Trump would win a third party run.

America is tired of the Bush/Clinton dynasty. I would vote for a third party Trump over a GOP Bush. And Trump would carry almost all the truly independent voters who are sick and tired of politics as usual along with 20-30% of democrats who are sick to death of the Communist wing of their party. They might never vote for a Republican, but they would vote for Trump - not because of any specific political policy proposal, but simply on the basis that they want the same thing he does - a return to a Great America.

One thing about both Trump and Cruz is that they are not "politics as usual."

Name-calling is not necessary, my FRiend.

We are on the same team.

Actually, we both believe (most, at least) of what Trump says.

My contention is that master salesman, pot-banging Trump (who has supported people that I consider slimy, such as Ms Pelosi) and causes that I do not like, at all (such as, and IIRC, partial birth abortion) is simply not trustworthy until there is some sort of a track record.

Salesman and Democrat Trump knows what to say to attract conservatives. And, at a time when our own party has abandoned many of our core principles, we are more than eager to listen (when we should be at least a little wary of this particular messenger)

I heard Carson on the Levin show - not that impressed. He is slow in his speech. Cerebral. A methodical thinker. Questioned by Marc Levin and his answers were not as detailed. Instead of explaining we’d follow the Constitution, he would say, “we’d do what is appropriate.” Answers not grounded.

His chance just plummeted because of his stance supporting fetal tissue research.

"To not use the tissue that is in a tissue bank, regardless of where it comes from, would be foolish. Why would anybody not do that?".

Of course he says he is pro-life, but the above statement that Carson made that it's okay to experiment on aborted babies parts kind of supports people's need to do abortions. After all, ivory collected from thieves who butcher elephants is burned despite the value, to stop the thievery. Carson has problems.

I like Carson, but not for president. He is not surging, however, he is just the latest guy that the media thinks will lose the election, so after failing to push Krispy Kreme, and Yebby, Carson is the current guy. I have nothing against Carson, like I have against Krispy and Yebby, but I also I do not believe he can win, nor should win, and the media does not either, which is why he is “suddenly” “surging” “in the polls”.

You’ve gotta be frickin’ jokin’ here. If you were competeing against HP you were screaming for joy as she slashed inventory at the cost of profits over and over again. Three $200 units selling instead of one $1400 unit? 3:1 sales ratio, look at the number of units we’re moving! She nearly killed HP, thankfully was fired before she could complete the deal.

And...7000 jobs lost plus it took $21 million dollars to get rid of her.

I hope Trump does not turn out to be another Arnold. That did not work out all that well for CA.

If Trump is selling snake oil, then put me down for a bottle. The “real” doctors have been bleeding me dry for decades, and they won’t let me leave the hospital.

Watch your own Dr. Cruz while your looking for questionable characters. He’s laid down with McConnell before, and has a couple of votes that are very fishy for a fire and brimstone conservative. He also has been hitting the Super PAC money, and that changes good conservative doctors to big donor junkie quacks quicker than anything else.

For what it’s worth, I’ve given money to Cruz, but now that Trump has changed the game, and threatens to destroy the GOPe scheme in way that Cruz by himself can’t, I’m a Trump supporter.

Why go with the Donald, when he has no track record?

Because he has no track record, and may actually put the country first. His lack of party loyalty is one of his main strengths, and part what terrifies the GOPe. That and the fact that he makes it obvious that they are lying bastard crooks.

It’s not a game that many Trump supporters are playing. I fully expect that if Trump fails, the American experiment in representative government will be over, and removing the chains, if they ever come off again, will require blood, not ballots.

Let Trump use Carly as a stepping stone for once. Run with her as VP and then find a convenient way to dump her once the election is won, and appoint someone like Cruz.

It’s already over.. needs to be restored by one that can do it.. i.e. Cruz..
It’s not Trump... we cannot connive our way out of this one..
If we could Newt would be the man.. with Trump as main GOON..

We may well find out that it’s already over.

What of Cruz and trade vote, and the vote for the Corker amendment? What about his super PAC donors?

Cruz can’t capture the independent and Dem voters needed to defeat Biden or whatever candidate the ‘Rats find who’s not facing charges to run in the general. People are sick of politicians, and face it, Cruz is a politician. He may well have stepped back from the brink of GOPe corruption, but his past actions and current funding make him suspect.

Cruz is young. Free of GOPe influence, he will make a great President, but he needs Trump to change the game, or else he never gets there.

I don't know. The lights would have to come back on in some heads and hopey changey talk fade a little so people can think clearly again. What will it take to make that happen?

So we should vote for Bush because Trump can't possibly win??? Not going to happen...You know, YOU GUYS KNOW that millions of people will stay home before they will vote for Bush...Yet you will watch him go down the tube before you'll vote for Trump...Same with Romney...Same with McCain...

There is video explaining some of that..
Explain all his moves about everything everywhere.. probably not..

What I’ve seen is good moves.. to deal with what he has to deal with.. especially in Congress..
Is he lieing?... I don’t think so..

From Cruz I sense a truth teller.. from Trump I sense a bullshitter.. sue me.. I don’t trust him..

Are both Cruz and Trump bullshitters.... Who knows?...
I must deal with what I think is true..
And refuse to deal with with what I think is untrue.. or SPUN..

I’ve known people like Trump before.. appear to honest but learned they were manipulators.. and am leery of them..

And I’ve rarely been wrong, if ever..
Given a calculated choice I chose Cruz..

“Anyone who dares criticize a Black politician is instantly denounced as a “racist”.”

That’s not true at all.

Only if the politician is a Dem.

And the same is true if the pol is anything.

Criticize a woman lib Dem - you’re a woman-hater

Etc,.. For any group.

A black conservative? Criticize all you want.
