Actually no, they didn’t. Mitch and Jonbon CAMPAIGNED ON WORKING WITH OBAMA.
Campaigned it. Told people that it was what the people wanted. Then the people, knowing this from having been given their opinion on the matter, elected them AGAIN by significant margins.
The reality is what it is. Now if people would admit that lesser evil voting is what got them into this mess, if only to themselves, and stop doing it, we MIGHT be able to pull our fat from the fire we ourselves collectively threw it in.
