Have you seen some of Dr. Carson’s views? Scratch the surface of this one-issue candidate and he’s against everything we believe in.
Yes I have and you are right. My personal belief is that he’s only being championed because he is the right’s black so-called conservative candidate. If he was white he wouldn’t even be on the slate.
At the risk of stating the obvious, have you seen some of Mr. Trump's views? Scratch the surface beyond his one issue (immigration)*, and he's against most everything we believe in.
* Of course, even on that one issue, he has not exactly been consistent. See his comments a couple of years ago, when he called Romney's immigration plan "crazy" and "maniacal" and "mean spirited." Yes, he thought that Romney, of all people, was too harsh on immigration.

Everything? Making an exaggeration like that does not advance your cause.
On the other hand, after hearing Carson interviewed on the radio the other day, it seems to me that the good doctor is terribly ill-prepared for the race, and he may not even know where he stands on some of the issues. His current “aw shucks” attitude is not going to serve him well for the long haul. I think that if he doesn’t get his act together soon, he’ll fade away after a few months.
