Hillary Clinton on Bill as Vice President: ‘It Has Crossed My Mind’
The Blaze ^ | 9/14/15 | Oliver Darcy

Hillary Clinton said the thought of selecting Bill as her running mate has “crossed” her mind, but added that she has been told it’s likely unconstitutional.

“He would be good, but he’s not eligible, under the Constitution,” the Democratic frontrunner said of her husband in an interview with Extra. “He has served his two terms and I think the argument would be as vice president it would not be possible for him to ever succeed to the position — at least that’s what I’ve been told.”

“It has crossed my mind,” she jokingly added to host Mario Lopez.

Claiming that a lawless flaunting of the Constitution by popular ignorance is the same thing as Constitutional legitimacy is not a serious argument.

...she has been told it’s likely unconstitutional.

Sheeeeeeyit. Since when did she give a flying fig about what that dried up old piece of parchment has to say?

The Constitution, I mean.

She has to be told that her "husband" is ineligible? She can't just pick up a copy of the Constitution and read it

Come on, be fair now! It's not as if Hillary were a lawyer, or a US senator, or anything like that.

Oh, wait...

This posibility worries me. There are more than enough Stupids who are registered to vote who could make this happen. Don’t laugh. Hillary’s getting desperate, and may do something to once again, make her an historical figure.
This may get Michelle to thinking about her choices as well.

somehow Bill does seem more qualified to be the VICE-president, don’t you think?

For example, what if Clinton were the Democratic nominee for vice president, and his party won?

According to the 12th amendment, a person ineligible for the office of President is ineligible for the office of Vice President.

After serving two terms, Bill is ineligible to be President again. Ergo, he is ineligible to be Vice President.

Idea for Hill. Why not pick Jeb for VP as “a symbol of national unity”.

The candidates for Pres and VP cannot come from the same state, constitutionally. So one would have to publicly move and that would be seen even by the media as a Clintonian sham.

Having BJ as VP takes care of the problem of having to come up with some ridiculous title for him, such as “First Gentleman.”

The are many reasons to hope for a Hillary defeat. For me, one of them would be the joy in seeing her dreams and ambitions crushed, and this arrogant hag broken and humiliated.

What a dope. He is not eligible as he served two full terms as potus.

Southside- want me to upset you. Rich Lowry tweeted today that if she became President, she would likely be forever memorialized on our currency- say $20 bill.

Has that grab you? -:)

It allows for up to two full terms or the service of the remainder of a former presidents term followed by two of his own. He is not eligible to be president or VP as he has already served two full terms as POTUS.

But after two years, if she had her VP whacked, bill would be eligible.

They would do that only after she is dead, but who knows these days? We could have her on there like the Brits have the Queen. Assuming I myself live to see a Hillary 20, I would take only one, and nail it to a utility pole in the alley to keep the rats away. Otherwise, I’ would carry only bills of other denominations.

He actually could be her VP if her VP served two years. She could have him whacked and name bill. He is allowed to serve two more years.

“What hasn’t crossed that mind?”

The concepts of humility, grace, truthfulness, I could go on indefinitely, but I digress.
