Dr. Ben Carson has spent most of his professional career as a man of science, which is why the Republican presidential candidates recent remarks on climate change have been puzzling to many.
In a recent interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, the neurosurgeon claimed I know there are a lot of people who say overwhelming science, but then when you ask them to show the overwhelming science, they never can show it. There is no overwhelming science that the things that are going on are man-caused and not naturally caused. The comment soon drew a rebuke from Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown.
Brown sent Carson a copy of the widely distributed United Nations 2014 report on the science behind global warming, along with a typed letter urging him to read it. Please use your considerable intelligence to review this material, Brown wrote in the letter. Climate change is much bigger than partisan politics.

It is big business, big money, big tax subsidies, and big kickbacks to the Democrat Party.
Geriatrics are causing “that” much trouble? I thought...
Oh, I forgot Jerry is one.
CA people love being manipulated by their “leaders”.
Brown sent Carson a copy of the widely distributed United Nations 2014 report
That is not schooling anyone. I would not trust a UN report that said it was raining while I was standing outside getting wet!
Jerry Brown isn’t qualified to shine Ben Carson’s shoes.
Jerry Brown - 77 (as old as Pres. Reagan at the end of his two terms as President)
Nancy Pelosi - 75
Barbara Boxer - 75 (in November)
Dianne Feinstein - 82
309 years between them for 4 people (and about 140/150 combined years in office).
Assclown College.
a moon beam is cold light having no substance
a sunbeam is warm light and is that which is responsible for warming the earth. the sunlight is variable and this variation or change influences the earth climate over time
And we all know the UN would never lie or twist information as a means to accomplish their own agenda.
The IPCC report is not science, it is a summary conclusion prepared from a survey of scientific research for policy decision making. Interestingly the term “medium confidence” is used throughout the document to describe the certainty of the evidence
A liberal can reach out and find a UN document supporting pretty much any of their positions.
Means bupkis to the rest of us, but great theater for the unholy ‘believers’...
But when confronted with facts, like the recent presidential glacier photo op whereas the glacier has been melting since the early 1800s (I.e., since the end of the ice age), there is stone cold silence or unhinged emotional vitriol in response
I must disagree with you. Jerry Brown IS qualified to shine Ben Carson’s shoes.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
——How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?——
the answer is self evident....... it is not necessary to control the sun
It is merely necessary to control the press and loudly and for evermore claim that carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels induces warming
it is really quite simple to induce the chicken little sky is falling syndrome to produce mass hysteria world wide
**...Brown sent Carson a copy of the widely distributed United Nations 2014 report**....
Which Ben conveniently threw in the recycle bin.
The real story here is Brown trusts the UN. In a sane world that should be impeachable.
Is that all liberals can find to do? We certainly need a committee of unpaid volunteers to find “productive” things for liberals to engage in rather than politically and culturally assaulting folks trying to earn a living, raise a family, and worship God.
Did I misread it or did California vote yes a few months ago to give free healthcare to all illegals? To me that’s like saying “free healthcare for the entire world courtesy of the taxpayers of California” because the only requirement is just showing up in California, you can be from any place. That state is absolutely suicidal.
Standard Democrat Playbook. They go after Carson to try to prop him up in the Republican Primary. We, Republicans, are supposed to respond:
“Oooooo, they’re so scared of Carson, I guess I better vote for him.”
...and then they get to run against the WEAKEST (viable) candidate in our field.
