Exclusive: New Emails on Secret Benghazi Weapons
Fox News ^ | 2015 September 11 | Catherine Herridge, Pamela Browne

Posted on 09/13/2015 12:06:35 AM PDT by CutePuppy

On the third anniversary of the Benghazi terrorist attack, emails reviewed by Fox News raise significant questions about US government support for the secret shipment of weapons to the Libyan opposition.

During the Spring of 2011, as the Obama administration ramped up efforts to topple the Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, a licensed American arms dealer, Marc Turi, his business partner formerly with the CIA, senior US military officials in Europe and Africa as well as a former staffer for republican Senator John McCain considered logistics for arming the rebels, according to the emails exclusively obtained by Fox Business and Fox News.

Turi is facing federal trial this December on two counts that he allegedly violated the arms export control act by making false statements. Turi denies the charges, and alleges there was a rogue weapons operation run with the knowledge of Mrs. Clinton's state department.

The email dated March 22, 2011 was sent by Admiral James Stavridis, when he was the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, from his government email account to Turi's business partner David Manners.

The email was also copied to General Carter Ham, then head of the defense department's Africa command. Stavridis vouches for Manners as a United States Naval Academy classmate and "former CIA Officer with deep connections throughout the near Middle East."

Also copied on the email is Mike Kostiw who worked for Senator John McCain until February 2011 on the Senate Armed Services committee. It is not known from the emails reviewed by Fox whether the parties responded, or whether others were brought into the discussion.

Stavridis tells Manners "The person in charge of the operation from a US DoD perspective is General Carter Ham, the commander of AFRICOM... Clearly, what you are describing is a State Department lead." ..... < snip >

I still believe that when the veil is parted, we will find out that Obama armed and covertly supported ISIS to overthrow Syria.

No! Obama didn't know it even happened until he read about it in the paper! /sarc

America’s Intel Agencies are doing this to Hillary. After the prosecution of a CIA director for much-much-much less, they are demanding Hillary’s prosecution. The NYT dripline is already open and every week something else is being leaked.

Clinton's main interest in overthrowing Gaddafi was the potential billions that could be made by foreign investors represented by Sid Blumenthal. Hillary would have been a beneficiary. What she said upon the death of Gaddafi is telling: “We came, we saw, he died.”

Gen. Ham was arrested and relieved of Duty by his XO on Sept 11th, 2012.

Seems GEN Ham was Commander of AFRICOM for the normal two year tour, until April 2013, when he retired. However, he has stated publicly he was in favor of sending rescue forces.

The Benghazi-Gate is the most serious element and problem for the W.H. It has to be kept under lock at any cost. There were 3+ dozen secret CIA operators in Benghazi doing secret gun-running business. General Carter immediately remove together with an Admiral in the Mediterranean Sea plus a stand-down order by “Bob.” This whole thing stinks to high heaven, and if the real truth ever surface would sink the administration and the DNC-ass party!!!

Leon Panetta claimed he was against aiding the besieged embassy. From the supposed de-bunkers at Snopes:
“...Secretary of Defense Panetta stated during an October 2012 press briefing that General Ham was one of the military commanders who had judged it too dangerous to send troops...”

Snopes spoons out standard administration and media swill, ignoring obvious questions like:
“Wouldn’t a guy be reluctant to contradict a vindictive administration on something like this, knowing how they could smear him in the press and mess with his retirement pay” or “Why would the people who floated the Mo-movie insult lie suddenly decide get honest about this fiasco?”

Well, well, I guess it makes sense why they didn’t want the military involved at any cost.

How come Stavridis hasn't been Petreaused?

Romney looks more and more like our Cassandra every day.

If yr right then it won’t be too long before Trump dumps it on Hillary....unless he is waiting for her to be confirmed and then ruin her.

Plus if the Intel people are behind the leaks, then she is toast anyway.

I wish the GOP Presidential wannabes would stop acting as if they will be running against Hillary - she's finished.

Could it be they want to rush out more news about Hillary ASAP to force her out of the race so there is time for a replacement?

The "time for a replacement" is eleven months from today.

See this article from 2013: http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/102913-677116-197-military-officers-purged-by-obama.htm

According to this article, Obama fired 197 officers (as of the 2013 date), because they didn't “toe the line” of his agenda.

I have posted many times that the cover-up of Benghazi-Gate (4 American murdered and a stupid youtube video) is the worst hot potato for this administration and DNC-ass party’s existence. Must be kept under the rug at any cost !!!
