The Donald’s comments on Carly Fiorina’s physiognomy are just another of those blustery storms that are supposed to mark the “end” of The Donald, but in the final accounting, amount to no more than a ripple. People are left sputtering and looking disheveled, but The Donald breezes on, unapologetic as ever, and curiously, somehow, continues to suffer no setback in the polls whatsoever.
Will The Donald be the eventual nominee? That is unknowable for the moment. If he succeeds in gaining the nomination (probably by acclamation, if the current trend holds), could he roll on to electoral college success? Again, a highly speculative outcome, but people have done much worse than betting on The Donald.
If you make a perfect score, on whatever examination you face in life, you have not been truly tested.
But there is just no feeling this side of heaven, that compares to having come through some grueling ordeal, and emerging a winner and champion. It matters not what the crowd may be chanting, it all comes from the inside.
