NEW YORK (AP) Donald Trump clarified, sort of, a long-standing question about his personality during an appearance on Fridays Tonight Show.
Host Jimmy Fallon asked him, playfully, if the billionaire developer and GOP presidential front-runner has ever apologized for anything.
I fully think apologizing is a great thing, the famously self-assured Trump replied before winning the studio audiences applause by adding: But you have to be WRONG. I will absolutely apologize sometime in the hopefully distant future if Im ever wrong.
Thats how it went, with both Fallon and the audience eating out of his hand.
In what passed as one of the segments more serious moments, Fallon asked what Trump was doing on the campaign trail that his Republicans arent to win support from voters.
I think they want our country to be respected again, Trump said. I think they feel that if Im president, I will do some great things for our country, and were gonna be respected again . Theres a movement going on, and its amazing to watch.
Trumps interview session with Fallon was remarkably similar to a comedy sketch that had Fallon impersonating Trump, complete with orange wig, as they faced one another on opposite sides of a picture frame, as if one of them were the others mirror image.

One hand boils the pot, while the other stirs and none’s the wiser.
Guys like Vanderbilt, Carnegie, Rockefeller, JP Morgan and others were Billionaires long before Henry Ford.
I have a different take on Trump's religion. We dn't know and may never know. Jesus selected among His 12 an egotistical liar (Peter) , an egotist who insisted Zjesus loved him more than anyone else (John) , and an extreme doubter (Thomas). God raised up a stammering muderer (Moses), an adulterer (David), and an unwilling servant (Jonah). Some of God's greatest most willing tools were Babylonian kings, Roman centurions, and a harlot.
So I hesitate to rush to define Trump's heart. Ultimately, "by their fruits ye shall know them." If Trump does half of what he says, it will be pretty clear he is doing it because he is a willing vessel.
“Trump sure is lucky.”
I think from the constant sound of you that you are incredibly jealous of Trump. Relentless sour grapes on your part.
One more from Lombardi, "Losing is also a habit" or something very close to it.
Combining the two quotes from Lombardi, "about winning and losing," it's in the same meaning as Henry Ford's quote that you posted Steel. ;-)
It wouldn’t surprise me if Fallon, in the privacy of the polling booth, wouldn’t vote for Trump. Fallon makes a lot of money now to protect and I’ll bet he likes Trump’s persona a lot better than Hillary’s.
It would be nice to have a president with a sense of humor again. I guess there are a few, even on here, that will take the ‘never wrong’ thing literally though.
Trump keeps it personal which is ok with me.

I think we'll be 'pleasantly surprised' for most of what he does if he wins the White House.
