Billionaire Donald Trump has extended his lead over the Republican presidential field, while Democratic overall frontrunner Hillary Clinton now trails underdog Bernie Sanders in the key early voting state of Iowa, polls showed.
The results reinforce a steady trend in the 2016 race: with five months to go before the first primaries, political outsiders -- fueled by public anger and impatience with Washington -- are rising up against the race's establishment figures.
That anti-establishment sentiment appears to be hurting Clinton, sitting governors and senators, and dynastic candidate Jeb Bush.

With Bernie the Democrats are finally coming out of the closet. Someone I have always been suspicious of (a strident Democrat) recently admitted to thinking socialism is the way to go. According to the website LifeNews.com, Sanders has a 6 percent pro-life voting record. Out of 101 votes on issues concerning the abortion debate, Sanders has only voted in line with pro-life supporters one time, when he supported a ban on human cloning. However, on every other vote, Sanders has remained staunchly on the side of the pro-choice. He has voted “no” on banning family planning funding in U.S. aid abroad, on banning partial-birth abortion, and on funding health care providers that do not offer information on abortions.
I guess the national, possibly international and intergalactic outrage over his insult about St. Carly's unappealing visage wasn't enough to hurt him.

Hillary has been to Iowa many many times, bought TV ads, hired a staff of something like 65 people in the state.......and she is trailing a guy who isn’t even really in her party.
I’ve always (at least until I wised up) associated Republican with Conservative.
On the other hand, I think i’ve correctly always associated today’s democratic party with socialism, in its worst form.
Clinton proudly stated today that she is a dem an crazy bernie is a socialist, a great debate question is what’s the difference,
