Justice Dept. encourages prosecutions of corporate execs

The Justice Department issued new guidance to its prosecutors on Wednesday, aimed at encouraging more white-collar criminal cases against corporate executives.

The new policies come amid persistent criticism that the Justice Department, even while negotiating multi-billion-dollar settlements with large banks, has not been aggressive in prosecuting individuals for financial misconduct—including after the mortgage crisis that devastated the U.S. economy.

The policy changes were outlined in a memo issued to Justice Department attorneys and to the FBI, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates was expected to discuss the issue in a speech Thursday at New York University’s law school.

Though it’s not clear whether the new policies will actually result in additional prosecutions, they reflect concerns that the department could be doing more to hold individual, high-level executives accountable. …

Sounds like something we should like.

This is more about taking down successful White men than anything else.

If you think Obama is concerned with reasoned Justice, I think you’re mistaken.

This certainly sounds like our esteemed raghead in charge: “Release the cannons from their anchors and commence firing!”

Corporate executives are witches. We should burn them.

Or stone them.

They won’t be prosecuting any for hiring illegals or failure to follow immigration law related to employment.

They are running out of any more big banks to shakedown and blackmail for money, so it’s time for some new targets, corporations. Funny, so many of the CEO’s, Presidents, financiers, corporate heads are Liberals who gave lavishly to the Obama Admin, thinking they had insulated themselves from attack, snd have been attacked by Obama and his minions anyway. Humors me.

As Hemingway put it, you live by the sword, you die by the sword. These corporations and financial institutions got in bed with Obama, and his thank you to them is to suck them dry of their money. So sad, too bad.

By the “justice department” I presume they mean Lynch. I guess going after CEOs is a lot safer than going after terrorists that are flooding across our borders. CEOs don’t carry AK-47s.
