The word inside the beltway is that a longtime adviser to Hillary Rodham Clinton is urging her to hire outside legal counsel and look into cutting a deal with the Feds over the e-Mail scandal currently dogging her presidential campaign, it was reported Tuesday.
According to the report Mrs. Clinton was told she needs to act quickly because, contrary to reports that the FBI probe into her use of a private e-Mail server may drag on for months, the investigation may actually wrap up by year’s end.
The NY-T’s is reporting that Mrs. Clinton received Top-Secret e-Mails on her unsecured, privately maintained server she used as Secretary of State. She has repeatedly said she did not send or receive classified material, though she later amended that material that was marked Classified. Tuesday she said that she was “sorry.”
“Hillary needs counsel to let Congress, the Justice Department, the FBI, and all the authorities involved know that she’s taking this very seriously,” the adviser said “And she needs to get some discovery as to where the investigation is going so that she can make plans how to deal with it.”
Joking about her e-Mail problem and acting as though it is a conspiracy by her political enemies is hurting her with the Federal prosecutors, the adviser said.
The adviser said he pointed out that former CIA directors David Petraeus and John Deutch each avoided criminal charges by pleading guilty to a Misdemeanor for mishandling classified material. But Mrs. Clinton responded that neither of them was running for President.
She fears an admission of guilt would end her chances of being elected. Which it is likely to do, many do not like her already, but cotton to her perceived power.
The adviser told Mrs. Clinton it was a chance she had to take because Federal investigators smell “Blood in the Water,” according to reports.
Bryan Pagliano, a State Department IT professional hired privately by Mrs. Clinton to set up her private e-Mail server, has invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to testify before Congress, and Mr. Pagliano could end up being the Key to forcing Mrs. Clinton to make a plea deal.
Mr. Pagliano is not a member of the Clinton Inner Circle and will not be as willing to “Fall on the Sword” for her as someone such as her aides Cheryl Mills or Huma Abedin.
People close to the investigation expects Mrs. Clinton to make a plea deal and quit the race, leaving space for Vice President Joe Biden, who is considering a run.
Joe Biden has said he is not sure he has the emotional energy to run following the death in May of his son, Beau. US President Barack Hussein Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett is putting Mr. Biden in touch with psychotherapists in an effort to get him in the mental space to run.
Suddenly there is a huge outpouring for Mr. Biden, while HRC goes in the tank over the e-Mail scandal.

You are probably right. I still have a strong belief in Karma, as I have seen it in action too many times to count. We are dealing with very unstable narcissistic personalities that will think they are beyond any repercussions. That provides the wide open back door for them to self-destruct.
I am also an optimist that hopes it will not come to bloodshed to save our Republic, but I am pessimistic that it will not be corrected without.
Either way, Obama has lit the fuse that leads to major upheaval. God help us.
I don’t believe that Hillary can keep her mouth shut if she loses this battle. The only way Obama is at least partly safe is if Hillary assumes room temperature, of course with the tacit approval from Bill.

Have no idea. All I want to know is if what he said is true. While I’ve never sent anything over a classified system, I do know that in some of the places I’ve worked there were two or three different systems set up, each for different levels of classifications. But, not being a tech guy, I’m just throwing it to see if someone can give the working mans version.

You’re trying to apply rationality to Huma’s thinking. She’s this decade’s version of Susan McDougal. These people are fiercely loyal to the Clintons and democrat party and nothing else. There’s no rationality in their thinking patterns.

Because Hillary knows she’s not really at risk, since she’ll never face indictment. She also knows once she emerges from this she’ll be lauded as a survivor and a fighter against “the power.”

I worked for two defense contractors. Although I didn’t handle government classified work generally at these two employers the system was set up to detect any attempt to download or print company sensitive material. I could have taken a screen shot and sent that to a printer, scanned it and emailed it.
But with Mr. Pagliano running their server, and being familiar with the safeguards, he could have easily subverted the existing system to circumvent the safeguards and allow the transmission or printing of classified material. If he did that he knowingly violated laws that could put him in prison for a long time. (My guess, however, is that he simply didn’t declare the income and it exceeded the allowable 15% of his State Department income. Thus he committed tax fraud instead of treason.) But if he did commit treason then those who paid him did also. Whatever happens to him, would, in a just world, also happen to the paymasters. He could, if he kept copies, buy his way out and then sell a book. But if he did succeed in ending Hillary’s inevitability he’d need to live in fear.

Because the FBI name was brought in to give some credence to some investigation. Now, ask yourself, would you believe anything coming out of any office of this entire administration?
I heard the same thing, and as a former intel person myself, he was pretty much on target. My clearance was Top Secret - Crypto. Manning was not allowed to bring ANYTHING into that Comm Center other than maybe his wallet and even that was checked going in and out, at least that is the way it was when I was in. If you wanted to bring in anything, it stayed there and the only way to get it out was for it to be subjected to a detailed internal scrutiny procedure without you present. He had a helper, plain and simple.
They may have on paper 50 “working” on this but I would wager that 49 of them are playing solitaire most of the day on their government supplied computers. The other one is running cover.
Obama and Jarrett know that if the Clinton gang wrests power from the Obama gang, then they cannot have the ready access to the DNC power structure to further perpetuate their evil Muslim plans after they leave orifice. Neither wants to leave and their back-up plan is to create as much mayhem before January of 2017 in the hopes they can declare Martial Law and dispense with what little is left of our Constitution.
The original reason for the private server was precisely for the back room war going on between these two factions. They just later discovered they could use it to sell our intel, just like they did with Loral, and pad the coffers of the Clinton Criminal Foundation. They got lazy because of their arrogance and got caught, by the Obama clan.

Exactly.. which is why Loretta Lynch is forbidden to allow charges to be filed. This case will drag out interminably, then meet a quiet demise in the midst of yet another manufactured, news-grabbing crisis.
