Some people have waited their entire lives for it, and Egg McMuffin lovers and McGriddle connoisseurs from coast to coast rejoiced when McDonald’s announced it would offer its delicious breakfast options from opening until closing beginning Oct. 6.
What could be better than a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit for dinner? Brilliant, right?
Not everyone thinks so.
Leave it to the liberal blue meanies at Vox.com to analyze McDonald’s decision and debate the “ramifications.”
Vox proudly posted its Mickey-D musings on Twitter, and warned social media users that the restaurant chain’s decision to expand its menu options could stem from that “evil” thing called capitalism.
That’s right, one of the biggest, most successful enterprises ever launched on planet Earth may actually be thinking about making a buck on the deal.
Stop the presses!
Tweeters were out in force to “thank” Vox for its astounding conclusion, and like clockwork the mockery rolled:

These people are all nuts and do not hesitate for a second to make a buck, however under handed.
I was working with someone clearing land for a vineyard. A woman in a high end Mercedes stopped and angrily asked what we were doing. “Clearly land?” the boss answered unsure if it was a trick question.
“THis is all about money, isn’t it?” she shouted.
Again, unsure if it was a trick question he hesitatingly answers “Yes?” To which she storms off, gets in her Mercedes and speeds away.
I doubt if the Mercedes was stolen or she lived under a bridge. In their minds, they can have anything they desire, you are allowed to only have what they deem you should have. They are totalitarians of the worst kind.

The fact is free market capitalism depends far more on cooperation and rule of law to operate successfully than top down socialist countries. The capitalist countries not only provide more goods they provide more personal freedom. The lefties simply have no argument.
When we were first married, my wife and I lived in San Antonio.
There was a small restaurant near where we lived which had a sign, “Breakfast served any time”. Just for the novelty of it, we had breakfast for lunch. It was really good tho I don’t think we wanted it again.
Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel offer it all day too, although they’re sit down places.

I haven’t had the oatmeal, but my second favorite is the Egg McMuffin.
Here in the Southeast, we have a chain with thousands of locations that serves breakfast 24/7/365.
Waffle House
There even used to be a FR Waffle House ping list. FEMA uses them as a bellwether on how bad a disaster area has been hit. Look it up.
Sherlock Holmes said something like: “only a Scottish woman can do breakfast right”. I wonder tho. Nearly all my ancestors were Scots but I don’t think I could take the food.
