Trump should moderate the debate and ask all the questions.
It’s only fair.
“Every time the Donald opens his mouth he proves that he is inept, inexperienced, incompetent.
Inept at what.. being a politician? Yep, he will tell you he is no politician.
Inexperienced at what? Being a politician? Yep, that’s true.
Incompetent? You’re going to have to prove that one out. Tell us all how you turned $400 million into billions, got a tv show contract and are now personally financing your own run for President. I’m open. Let’s hear how much more successful you are than Trump. Otherwise, what gives you credibility on his “incompetence?”
That is the road Trump supporters live on
Is that a whine?
“Every time the Donald opens his mouth he proves that he is inept, inexperienced, incompetent.”
I understand why you don’t like him. That said, Trump is not inept or incompetent. He is clearly inexperienced as a politician, but this is a badge of honor IMHO. The fact he can speak publicly, off the cuff, and doesn’t use speechwriters or teleprompters to speak puts him head and shoulders above many high profile elected politicians. To be honest, even though they are trained to be somewhat facile while addressing the media, or speaking publicly, IMHO politicians are amongst the least impressive group of people the country produces - in all seriousness. If we had zero career politicians, we would be much better off as a nation (again, IMHO).
Although he was never ‘my candidate’ my impression is that Trump is a quick study, and whatever he doesn’t know about foreign policy I’m sure he can rectify with relative ease. After all, it doesn’t take a nuanced understanding of foreign policy to avoid giving a relatively unhindered path to nuclear weapons to a country like Iran.
Trump has had no ability to do anything about it.
Who did, and whose job was it?
This isn’t an LOL matter BTW.
Iran has missiles with about an 800 mile range.
They make regular shipments to Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon.
Good.
PGA just got in on the gig too by pulling the Grand Slam of Golf out of Trump National in LA. Will not have it this year.
Good for them to show where they stand so F em. When Trump is elected, he can sic the IRS Exempt Organizations on them as this is nothing but a political stunt which removes them from the non political arena.
That’s all you’ve got? Gee...maybe my Sen Cruz is upset that they’re not even wondering what kind of tree he is.
See how silly that is?
You don’t really like Hewitt, do you?
Nobody is perfect
Trump is about 9% to Teds 100%
Give it up. You sound more ridiculous with each post. Are you posting from school?
Incorrect my friend. It is a road you wish Trump supporters lived on.
It is smarmy and ludicrous to judge a candidate on knowing the name of a general secretary of some crypto-political party/organization.
Who is President of Venezuela?
Peru? Who is the leader of Shining Path.
Who’s President of Taiwan? What Party?
What is the formal name of Macedonia and why! Who is it’s Prime Minister?
Who is Kim Jung-un’s (or whatever his name is) top General?
It goes on forever and is sophomoric.
Cruz worked for Jeb/W during Bush V Gore. Met, married his wife while working for W.
Is it ever a good idea to trust someone who manages to look like an old man, a baby, and an albino at the same time?
Bfl
That’s poppycock. Who Jabhat al-Nusra, Al-Shabaab, Harakat ul-Mujahidin, or the hundreds of other terrorist organizations are, individually, isn’t critical for a leader of the United States, let alone a candidate, to know off the top of his/her head.
Case in point, HH asked about Jabhat al-Nusra. Which isn’t even the name typically used to describe that cretin outfit. Its a name you would only use if you were trying to name drop and act smarter than the next guy.
Who leads any of these groups today is minutia. Kill one, another pops up. We’re fighting jihadist islam, not mo, hadhi, and jimbo.
Hell, I’m guessing Donald Trump is smart enough to know Islam isn’t the “religion of peace.” I don’t think any of the GOPe candidates can even get that fundamental question right. Shouldn’t that disqualify all of them from running for office?
So long as you want technocrats who speak politicalese, you’ll get the same results we’ve been getting. Which is $18 tril debt, a culture upside down, and increasing poverty. Rubio can’t even tell things aren’t going great.
Our powers that be, including HH, couldn’t tell us that Boko Haram was a terrorist group until 2013. And much of the RNC’s senate lineup, who’s jocks HH carries, apparently can’t tell that Iran sponsors terrorism such that they should work to make sure Iran doesn’t get international funding to continue. Thanks Corker et al.
We need LEADERSHIP. Not people who want to keep playing the same political games so that the same pockets get filled (be it political consultants, analysts, crony capitalists, or their bedmates).
Okay, now I understand.
Despite that I’ve never thought of Cruz as a Bush level guy. I do think he’s a smart guy, debate team, argued before the SCOTUS...
It is interesting though isn’t it. It does get you to thinking.
Thanks for the mention.
Which brings up a good point, who gave Hewitt those questions?
I wish it wasn’t true about Cruz. (see also post number 11 here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3333152/posts?page=11#11)
But this all just leads us back to the GOPe roadmap to victory for Jeb:
