Approximately 90,000 minors have entered the country in the two years since President Obama, whether out of the best of intentions, cynical political calculation or as another of his serial expressions of incompetence, allowed the idea to take hold abroad that kids who were brought to the country would be allowed to stay. Numbers are swelling rapidly and detention centers are bursting at the seams. Among them are thousands of unaccompanied Central American children—approximately 52,000 since October, according to federal records.

Right now the country ought to act to end the humanitarian crisis of tens of thousands of what are, in effect, orphans and strangers in our land. The very young among them should find “forever families” right here, right now. They should become Americans.

To hell with that idea.I’m sick of seeing all of these parasites breaking into our country expecting hard working American Taxpayers to care for them.Espechially when we are in an era of rising unemployment and higher taxes.
One thing I’d be willing to do is put them on a jet to the most remote part of the planet so that it takes them time to make it back here.

Not only are we taking these “children” in and resettling them in the US at taxpayer expense, but also, we are flying in their parents to join them from Central America. It is insane.
You might support Hewitt’s position on instant U.S. citizenship for illegal kids, but most of us don’t. Sorry.
It sounds like treason - an effective way to get dangerous criminals, the insane, and terrorists to settle here.
They are not orphans, they have parents, send them home.

Are the Hewitts going to adopt four or five of these illegal children? I don’t think so.
They belong at home in their native countries. The USA in the past year has allowed 1.7 million immigrant to become citizens, more than all other countries combined. Then we were treated to the Obama planned invasion from Central America, thus adding hundreds of thousands more. We need to station the military on our borders while a wall is constructed to keep the squatters out. We don’t need them.
Kabar, this mostly addresses more kids being flown here to join their parents already here. Really sucks IMO. We foot all the fees and then put them on government programs to boot.
In some instances some parents can come, but only if they are under 21 and have parents already here. They get to bring their own kids with them, if any.
It doesn’t address bringing all the parents of that big dump of kids on us. Thankfully.

I am looking for the link to the parents being flown in to join the children. I know it exists.
So many useless “men” anxious to destroy their homelands. Here in the USA, we have idiots like Hewitt, all Democrats, the vile Bush family, etc, all desperate to merge the USA with Mexico and flush away that which took 400 years to build.
In Europe they are opening the gates and welcoming massive swarms of Muslim young men into their towns and cities. Down the toilet goes a thousand years of Western Civilization. They may as well hold up a sign “Welcome. Please rape my wife and daughter”.
