Would your opinion change if a Muslim clerk at an alohol control board refused to issue liquor license or a Muslim usda inspector refused to inspect pork?

No. Since both of your examples are hires and not elected officials, I'd want the employees reassigned. I'd suspect that it would take out-of-control judges to stop such reassignments.

I suspect the gay couples weren't looking to get married (they could've gone to another court), they were looking to marginalize Christian doctrine. Since there were alternatives, I don't understand how the judge's action was anything except a slam at Christianity.

Or a sheriff released deportable criminal aliens? The gaystapo sure isn’t pulling for the rule of law there. Why should we give them a freebie here?

Actually, no.
IF a muslim applied for a job as a pork inspector or on the alcohol control board, he would KNOW what is expected going in. Any refusal would be grounds for dismissal.

This decision was imposed on people already in office and with absolutely NO consideration of their rights.

I wouldn’t expect accommodation to be possible on the alcohol control board, because that is all they do. I would expect there to be sufficient quantities of beef and chicken to insect for the USDA to accommodate.

Your argument is one of moral equivalency. That is a bad argument. The actions of the clerk in Kentucky are just and proper; the hypothetical case of the Muslim food inspector would threaten public health. And remember, the "law of the land" is only a standard to be used when liberals like the status quo. That is why there are 12 million (or 30 million) illegals walking around in public today in the U.S.

Look at it this way.

If the muzzie was given a pass up front and was not required to handle pork or liquor, but later was told he MUST handle them or be fired, would he have a case?

You bet your Obama he would.

Mine wouldn't. A pox on Muslims. A pox on Obamamerica. I am sick of this "fundamentally transformed" country where Christians are being pushed out of public life at every turn, and now, we are being jailed.
