The leaders of both House and Senate (including the Democrat House Speaker, who is an ultra liberal) pleaded with the Governor to call a short session so they could address this before things got out of hand as they feared - which it did, and he’s at fault for it as he could have prevented it from starting in the first place, or stopped it from occurring.
