I think I'm going to go back to living in de nile
I am good with that.
Seems like forever...but it's like yesterday.
His broken little body on the street out front.
The biggest part of me died that day.
Four years for me and double ditto.
RIP
Allegra took a self-imposed break and never came back.

When I go no one here will know, either.
I’ve already written my opus - a real opus. To be posted after I’m gone by one of my FReeper sons or my FReeper g/daughter.
Not that anybody will give a rat’s a$$.
“Anybody hear from Brads Gramma? Its been almost 2 years.”
Wow, she was always here. I had no idea. My kid has instructions to advise you guys if I move to the next realm.
“His broken little body on the street out front.”
Been THERE done THAT.
Hubby and I were both admittable to the Bellevue Hospital psych ward after we lost our beloved Holly.
You have my sympathy and hubby’s too!
“hell no one misses me now”, join the club slick.
I smoke to much, I probably drink to much, I don’t eat right, only relative (older brother) is 647 miles away and we only talk on the phone about every 3 months.
Usually work about 12 to 16 hours a day out in the fields, so am to damn tired to fix a proper supper when I get in at dark.
The only ones who will miss me are my dogs, only because breakfast and supper won’t be ready for them.
But; I figure buzzards got to eat to.
No Freepers in my close personal life to do that for me. I hate seeing additions to the memorial page when I look in on it.
I haven’t written a death opus, and probably won’t. Everything I’ve wanted to say, I pretty much will have by then. I’ll have bigger issues to deal with. :-)
When I was rudely reminded that I’m mortal by a bypass at 39, I came to terms with it. I’ll be 54 in a few days. I still have long-term plans. I want to move back to a remote mountain village that I spent my high school years in and live peacefully by the river in a place where locking your doors is an afterthought, a holdover from when you had to bust your ass in a city somewhere making money. You look out the window before you take out the trash to make sure there isn’t a bear into the trash can, rather than having your head on a swivel because of city crime.
Ready for some peace and quiet.
I had to go hunting way way back in my FReepmails... I believe it was “Prophet in the Wilderness.” He disappeared back in early 2009.
Made me smile! I’m past the boy toy stage by about ten years. Been there, done that! I wouldn’t be averse, however, to hooking up with an old guy and going to the beach for a day!
Laughing, because you sound like me and a jarhead too, to boot. We do what we can while we’re here. Love dogs but have a thing for cats. Take care.

She got WAY too emotionally invested in “La Raza Rick” Perry and went nuts on fellow FReepers when he was exposed for being a big RINO phony.
Wow.
Just took a look at that; probably should scare the crap out of me, but it don’t.
Most of those folks were a hell of a lot younger than me.
Maybe it’s true, mean, grumpy, old men just live longer.
“There was a time when this forum was not so friendly to people with a slightly skewed view.”
Mine’s as skewed as anyones, even more than slightly. I don’t think your observation is fair
Had my second heart attack a year ago March,it kicked my butt !
still working, smoking and eating junk food.
Just stubborn like that.
Going to the Border at Campo next week for a Ten year reunion of Minute Men,
Ten Fricken Years!
Where’s the Dang Fence !
Hey, for what it’s worth, I’ll pray for you. And though I do not know you, I’ll think of you a couple times this week. I hope you feel better for it. You work harder than me, and I thought I worked hard. As for me, I’m still alone but I will never give up until my Lord takes my last breath away.
