If any one remembers our beloved freeper Hummingbird. Please advise.
Hummingbird, please come in.
I still keep in touch with one of Bah bahs daughter. May I suggest that each of you find a trusted FRiend that you can contact other than on here
Many have health issues let at least one of us know.
RE: 18
Whatever happened to Allegra?
I used to get info from her when she was in Iraq the same time as my son...
I have a solution, become a monthly so when the check bounces we will know your gone.
Ha
KRISTIN ??
I don’t plan on ever dying, so sooner or later I will miss you all. Just wanted you all to know that.
Thanks...I was thinking about Brad’s Gramma just the other day wondering where she was...
Was that NeverDem? I haven't seen his handle in quite a while. He was a prolific poster with a scientific bent.
More Henny Youngman!
. I think Ill pay him a dollar a month.”
That’s funny - at least you have retained a sense of humor.
I’ve not heard from Freeper 4CJ in years he was a good friend and had so much knowledge on the Constitution.
I have a folder entitled “If I should die...” Among the things my son is to do when that happens is to post a goodby to all the wonderful people on FR.
When my daughter died a number of years ago one of my very good friends came and stayed with me for a week or so but she had a family and business to take care of so left. What we agreed I would do so that she would know I was okay was just to send her an email everyday saying I was still around.
Maybe one of our whiz kids can make up some kind of an attendance log so people can go on in the morning and just do a check mark so we know those we’ve gotten to know are still around.
Did you miss today’s Steakhouse thread?
I hope to remain above ground, vertical, and well caffeinated.
Maybe they posted from a blog, or suggested that Robert E Lee wasn’t a hero, or said something bad about Palin.
There was a time when this forum was not so “friendly” to people with a slightly skewed view.
Just for reference—here’s a link to the Freeper Memorial Wall, which documents those who have passed on to their reward:
http://www.freerepublic.com/memorial/memorial.htm
Some newer Freepers may not be aware of it. It is at the very bottom of FR’s home page.
I remember nw arizona granny... she would find stuff .... interesting stuff...
We need to set up a way of staying in touch.
Better not make that daily. What if you hooked up with a young man for the week and went to the Bahamas?
;-) Better make it weekly.
wink wink nudge nudge.
