Ben Carson seems like a nice guy, and he’s obviously very intelligent, but he has some weird ideas about the second Amendment.

Yep! His anti-2nd amendment stance is a deal breaker, not to mention he has no executive experience. He should head up HHS under Trump.
In this election cycle, a real conservative, a real man, a brilliant man, and compelling man are not needed. What America really needs now is a braggart, a man with many foreign wives, a narcissist bigger than Obama, a crude and vulgar man, a man who appeals to crude sensibilities. That man is Donald Trump. He may not know any of the conservative thinkers or ever have previously supported or espoused their values or worldview, but what we need is a man that will give us simple and unclear answers.
