The left loves the gulag...

When they come into the churches themselves and demand subservience to the Deviant 5 on the el-Supremo Court’s interpretations of religious doctrine of those churches religion it’s going to get nasty real quick.

Are the Deviant 5 prepared to jail millions of people who defy them? What if out of these millions of people even a small percentage decide to hell you with fascist and resist and do so with violence, it will happen eventually are they prepared for that mess. The Deviant 5 truly opened a Pandora’s box with this most insane decision. What a mess liberals make of anything they touch.

I see you’ve abandoned your original argument (since you lost it) and have now resorted to rhetorical questions.

Look at it this way. Lets take ALL the religious aspects of this matter off the table. Leave her moral convictions alone for a moment.

Was the SCOTUS correct in their ruling?

Was Mrs. Davis correct in following Kentucky law?

So WHY are you kicking her to the curb?

No. None of them are going to resolve this issue. Our opponents are not practical, pragmatic people who are seeking a solution we disagree with.

They are Jacobins, they are rabid ideologues who want to do to this country and to law what they routinely do to each other.

There is no compromise you can find that will stop them. No sensible solution that will mollify them. No halfway measure that will convince them this far and no farther.

Don't even look for a reasonable solution, because it doesn't exist. Steel yourself to say "no", to stare them down and draw a line in the sand.

Thank you. You have stated plainly the concept which most of these "Do Your Job" types need to understand.

“How many times are you going to ask the same stupid question?”

Really. So county clerks get to impose their religious views regardless of the law?

I’ve met people who believe it is immoral to ride horses. They claim all riding is inhumane. Should such a person be allowed to refuse me a permit for a horse shed and corral?

There are people who believe it is immoral to own dogs. Should a government official be allowed to refuse to issue a dog license because their religious belief objects to owning dogs?

Should they be allowed to tell me to move to another county if I want to ride a horse?

Just how much power to you want to give government officials?

I think we’ll all have to take stands for what is right.....I did at work and the manager told me I could not do that as the company could be sued and I would be fired.....I told her that if i saw another incident where a parent was beating his infant I would indeed butt in and if they chose to fire me I would be headed for the press immediately following.

Keep in mind all I did was yell “Hey” to the man...he stopped.

Is it your position that society has no say in what has legal sanction?

yeah, that is true, jail is a pretty darn big leap though. Truly alarming.

I have NO DOUBT that McConnell will lead the charge to free this Christian woman from her tormentors.

NOT!

They can’t fire her - she is an elected official - have to impeach - then they would all have to stand up and be counted. Egads, anything but that.

God, please protect her in Jesus’ name; Lord in this time please see there are some standing in the gap in our sinful nation; Lord please see and hear those crying out to you. Lift her arms high and hold them there. As babies are slaughtered and sold as scraps of meat, as Christians die around the world and Jews at the hands of a satanic cult and as our sinful leaders enable them and sell out Israel, Lord please see people like her and hear her and lift her up...

I’ve abandoned nothing.

Was the SCOTUS correct in their ruling? - No. Should have been 9-0 the other way.

Was Mrs. Davis correct in following Kentucky law? - No. The law of Kentucky has become null and void. There is no law there for her to follow.

So WHY are you kicking her to the curb? - Because this Baptist doesn’t like government officials imposing their religious views on me and others contrary to the law.

County clerks issue things based on the LAW, not their convictions. They are not, in any way, giving their personal approval to anything by issuing a license. They merely confirm that X conforms with the law. Period. Nothing else.

What law was Mrs. Davis in violation of? I can cite for you all manner of Kentucky State Laws that she was following.

But if she was violating any law, please list it.

Oh, I get it now. You mistakenly think a SCOTUS order is law.

(Holy Crap!)

The People’s laws were overthrown by a judicial diktat in all of these cases. The judges should have been removed from office and the law restored.

When the system breaks down, that’s when the People have the right to remedies by other means

Bears repeating. And this needs to go from the Supreme court on down!

The state is imposing its' religious beliefs on us. The state religion is Secular Humanism.

From wiki

The philosophy or life stance of secular humanism embraces human reason, ethics, and philosophical naturalism while specifically rejecting religious dogma, supernaturalism, pseudoscience, and superstition as the basis of morality and decision making

Secular Humanism is a religion and it is the State religion.
