From Mike Allen writing at Politico:

A close associate tells POLITICO that Donald Trump plans to sign a loyalty pledge Thursday that would bind him to endorse the Republican nominee, and would preclude a third-party run. Trump made the stunning decision, which he has long resisted, to avoid complications in getting listed on primary ballots, and to take away an attack line in the next debate, the associate said.

It will help, because it removes a bogus issue and a distraction. It also makes Trump look like less of a loose cannon, which will provide reassurance for many fence sitters.

And when Mr. Trump is the nominee, I want the establishment GOP to affirm their loyalty to a new day by kissing his ring (while he tells them to kiss his a**) God Bless Donald Trump and a new America.

The stinking, treasonous, lying, and EXEMPT, GOP refuses to sign a loyalty pledge to the US Constitution

And neither has Trump. It's not even clear he knows of its existence.

Will he hold up a copy of the pledge and show the sh*t stains from where he wiped his a*s with it?

I trust Mr. Trump’s negotiation skills. For his renunciation of the 3rd party option, I hope that he got a reciprocal commitment by the RNC to fully and completely back him if he is the nominee. The RNC will walk away from its nominee — See Virginia’s recent governor race. Ken Cuccinelli was a non-GOPe candidate who beat the GOPe one. As retribution the Virginia GOPe did not support him, resulting in RAT carpet-bagger McAuliff as governor.

Third party = Trump loss

Third party = GOP loss

Third party = Republic loss

The reciprocal pledges would be worthless because the Super PACs ran by Rove, Barbour, et al. will do the dirty work for the GOPe.

Trump won’t need the GOPe to support him. Just to get out of his way!

Do all the candidate sign a loyalty pledge? He should do no more than what is required of the others!

You are quite mistaken.

Mr. Trump did not give the Senate’s power away
to Iran, but the GOP did.

nor did he sign on for SECRET ObamaTRADE
like the stinking, lying, treasonous GOP.

Mr. Trump is more honest than the entire “US” Congress.

If it happens as you say, it will be the RNC in cahoots with the MSM pollsters.

I predicted that the pollsters would make the polls up, I figure they already have them printed, just a matter of when they release them.

1 poll will come out shortly,FOX,CNN,NBC etc, will be a huge headline, will read Trump has first sign of slipping, the others will start to confirm this as well, they will be pushing other candidates.

Perhaps it will backfire on them if the promote CRUZ

Ironic that Bush said today that he would support Trump if Trump
is the nominee. The same day Trump will sign a loyality oath.

Me thinks Trump negotiated that statement from Bush thru Rince
before he agreed to sign the loyality oath.
