The idea that God would single out the US for destruction due to insufficient support for Israel seems odd when the US supports it more than any other country. I know Canada’s Harper is sweet on Israel, but Canada doesn’t pile on the aid.

You aren’t hyperbolizing. Corker and his Republican cohorts showed true brilliance in concocting a means whereby they’d get the Iran nuclear deal they wanted while at the same time getting to vote against it so as to placate their donors and base.
