Retiring Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) is the 34th senator to support Iran nuclear deal, guaranteeing that President Barack Obama will be able to sustain a veto of an attempt to kill the agreement, the Associated Press reported.
“No deal is perfect, especially one negotiated with the Iranian regime,” the longtime senator, who is not running for re-election in 2016, said in a statement. “I have concluded that this Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is the best option available to block Iran from having a nuclear bomb. For these reasons, I will vote in favor of this deal. However, Congress must also reaffirm our commitment to the safety and security of Israel.”

If the GOP in Congress had any guts, they would declare the agreement to be a treaty, regardless of what Obama calls it, and hold a ratification vote on which it would be defeated since 2/3 of the Senate does not support it.
Now the turtle and Tammy Faye Boehner won’t even bring the bill up.
please change the title to read “Obama Has Enough Democrats to Ensure Victory on UNCONSTITUTIONAL Iran Deal”
And when Iran reneges on the provisions of the deal, Democrats will blame Republicans. And Rush Limbaugh. And Bush.
May all of them rot in Hell for what they are doing.
They ALL know damn well this is the worst and stupidest deal this country has ever made (discounting the NK deal, because like Neville Chamberlain, at least Chamberlain didn’t have himself as an example of appeasement) but they are going to kick this can down the road, wash their hands of it, and move on as if it never happened.
Our government no longer represents the people.
The only thing that matters in this is that Obama can declare victory for himself. That’s it.
