Damages would seem to me to be worth about $12.84.

Oh, come on. This is ridiculous, unless the toy is somehow linked to her by a picture or some other likeness making it an identifiable caricature of her. And even then, she’s a public personality who should be able to take it.
To: ConservativeStatement
Dont see the resemblance but the name is a WTF.

What’s next, a plastic Megyn Kelly doll that gets her period?
To: ConservativeStatement
I've admired Harris over the years, a real professional.
But this seems nothing more than something that hurt her ego.

What the hell is a “Deco-bit”???
To: ConservativeStatement
I remember her from Kansas City.
The toy has her eyes.

At least it wasn’t a gerbil.

I’m probably the odd FReeper out on this one, but I think she has a case. Her name is her “brand”. Seems to me if the company wants to market a toy with her brand, she should have been consulted and a contract signed for royalties.

Protecting her brand. Some lawyer may have talked her into it.

WTF? This had to be intentional.

Seriously? What kind of damage could be done by having a cute little toy with the same name. Disappointing. I thought she was more sensible than this.
I’m willing to bet nobody even was aware of this until now.

They had to be. I’ve been involved in product naming. It’s insane some of the gyrations that need to be checked. As a public personality, the first google search would have taken care of it.

This is what Fox has become.
From the presumptive challenger in the news realm, touting a conservative voice, to just another leftist network who's anchors sue for absolutely no reason.
This lawsuit should be countersued by Hasbro for causing THEM duress. She should lose that countersuit, and badly.

(Ok. We won't call them 'Anchor Babies'. From now on, we shall call them 'Fetal Grappling Hooks'.)
