I didn't think he should. I thought he shouldn't. But I thought that people might get -- Then when he doubled down, that's when I said we've got something we haven't seen here before, and he's kept up. And then this came next.
TRUMP: They thought I was gonna apologize and I don't mind apologizing, but I have to make a mistake to apologize. And I was right. No, but I was right. So for two weeks, as Rush said, I took incoming, incoming being the media. I said, "Is it gonna be like this for the next year and a half? I don't know if I can make it."

Ted Cruz is 44 years old. He has nothing but time. He has hitched his wagon to Trump’s star because unlike you he realizes he is just not polling well enough to get across the finish line. Cruz knows with Trump he has options like VP leading to Prez or AG or Supreme Court Justice. Any or all of these options are better than his current gig in the Senate.
Again unlike you Cruz realizes that he is going nowhere in the Senate. He will never be Majority leader or be given any plum committee chair positions because the GOP establishment hates his guts. He needs to move on and Trump is his ticket.

Trump has this edge because so many can hardly wait for his next "dig" and who will be the target. There's a lot of people who want to see "the fights".....like the ones in the ring where one slams the other only this is in the political arena.......Frankly I'm already bored with it.....silly season just isn't for me for very long.
