Pure “Whorse” crap. They want a civil, malleable, left leaning, leader like Jeb to usher in a Hillary. Boehner/McConnell proves that leadership is just too hard for the GOPe. RINO sophistry would have you believe that mushy Mittens was too dividing. Truth, he lost because he listened to his advisers and didn’t fight.
If there is no difference in the candidates/parties, what would be the point of elections?

Cool by me.
I’d rather put the GOP out of its misery once and for all and start over. After four years of what is sure to be a very Liberal Democrat administration the Chamber of Commerce types will be ready to cry uncle and come crawling, begging our forgiveness.

National Review hasn’t been discernably conservative in a long time.

“Democrats ... more practical.”
Like electing the most liberal Senator.

It would be so delicious to have him write an article about having to unite behind a Conservative.

The GOP gave us McCain and then Romney, the non-purist type Republican Goldberg supports and they lost both times.
Hey, that worked out so well, lets do it again.

How predictable is this whine by Bernie?
If the GOPe candidate or a Dem wins in 2016, the GOPe get to go to all the same parties, they just don’t get to plan the menu.
If a Cruz, Trump, Fiorina or Carson win, they might not get invited anymore.

"Boehner is despised by the younger, more conservative members of the House Republican Conference," Blumenthal wrote to Clinton. "They are repelled by his personal behavior."
"He is louche, alcoholic, lazy, and without any commitment to any principle," he added.
"He is not Gingrich, the natural leader of a 'revolution,' riding the crest into power," Blumenthal continued as he described Boehner, R-Ohio. "He is careworn and threadbare, banal and hollow, holding nobody's enduring loyalty."
He also said Boehner "twitches" if the conservative base makes "gestures that might undermine his position."
SO WE CAN VOTE FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS?

While 26 percent of Republicans say they would never vote for Trump, only 11 percent of Democrats say they would never vote for Clinton. Democrats dont have the same kind of ideologically pure wing that has hurt GOP presidential candidates in the past. Democrats, it seems, are more practical. They may prefer Bernie Sanders, or one of the others, but when push comes to shove, almost all of them will vote for Clinton. Why? They want to win. Blah blah blah. He's basing all his fears on a poll that's only different by 15%....more than a year out from the election. I'm willing to bet that if Trump IS the nominee that by next year these number will be reversed for both.

So if Republicans hope to win in 2016, they will have to unite and support the GOP candidate whoever he or she is. Republicans, who today are vowing to never support Donald Trump, will have to reconsider, should he win the nomination. And the conservative purists, who swear they will never vote for a moderate, will have to abandon their ideological purity or abandon all hope of a GOP victory. Who care about a GOP victory if the relentless march toward the left continues?

Bernie, you are an idiot. Your solution, just keep doing over and over again what has failed for years, but this time the results will be different. You are not only an idiot, you are stupid.

“Conservative Purists Could Cost the GOP the White House”
Why is it always the “Conservative Purist” that could cost the Republicans the White House? I believe it’s the rino progressives, the do nothings who compromise and don’t do anything to stop the democrats.

One issue no one seems to have mentioned — suppose President Trump really does take office on January 20, 2017. Who in congress would he work with to accomplish anything? The Democrats disdain him, but worse, the Republican contingent detests him. How would he get any legislation passed?
