How would 23% be supporting Carson? Yeah, I know he’s smart and a nice guy but that’s about it.

GOPe probably thinks they can “help” carson “fill his cabinet” if he is elected....
The political establishment still has plenty of cards left to play. If Trump is still stomping it in February, then he’d better hire a food taster.
The ironic thing is the Trump campaign could spell the salvation of the establishment in the long term. Realistically, Trump would only be able to pursue a few high profile felons as President. Those caught would get the benefit of counsel and a trial.
Now let’s say that Trump loses and the situation continues to fester. The people who come after Trump won’t bother with trials.

They don’t want salvation. They don’t want to win trump knows that it’s why he never runs around whining about their attacks on him.

I know Carson has gained support, but I think we'll have to wait and see if this one is representative, or an outlier. I think it might be sort of like the Gravis Marketing/OAN poll that had Trump at 40% nationally. Both seem a few points beyond the trends.
Rush is doing exactly what he accuses the mainstream media of doing — using polls to drive an agenda. I’ve turned off Rush, and he’s going to stay off for a while. First time (for any long length of time) since I started listening in the early 90s (although I always turn him off when he starts making love to Apple computers.)
